We did have a problem with our air conditioner, causing us to move to another room the next day, which was a bit inconvenient, but overall, a good experience. 「The room was beautiful and clean. The view of the ocean was stunning. We did not partake in breakfast so I cannot comment. The staff was pleasant but not prominent. We felt like it was more of an air bnb as opposed to a hotel. Very quiet after nightfall. Had good sleeps. Walk into town was about 7 minutes along the ocean walkway. Beautiful. Our main complaint was no labels on the wonderful lighting switches. You have spent a lot of money on beautiful lighting, it would be nice...

「Everything was immaculate. Welcoming hosts. Breakfast was absolutely gorgeous. Whale watching from room was amazing and good sightings along the bay too. Room was beautiful and well equipped with thoughtful touches. Would highly recommend as a better alternative to staying in Hermanus. 」

「Carin and her husband and the rest of the staff at Oude schuur guesthouse were amazingly friendly and accommodating. They helped with getting us a car rental and made some excellent suggestions for dinner in the area. The breakfasts were delicious and fresh, the room was spotless with daily housekeeping.
