「Overpriced」

「After traveling all day we got to the Hillcrest only to find out they did not have all of our rooms. They tried to get us to share the room they had. No phone call to let us know ahead of time. No help in finding us another room. Their thought was that I reserved 4 rooms and they only had 3, that I should still take the 3 rooms because I reserved them. We ended up at going back north to a hotel we passed 30 miles before. Very unhappy that Expedia would even list this property.」

「This place is like a diamond in the rough! Marsha is fantastic! There when you need her with a simple call. Beautiful OH riverfront, the town is just simple & Fun, they are friendly & welcoming. Had a great visit. The room is simple but homey & comfortable. We will definitely stay here again when down south!」

The house was very clean and we were impressed with the provisions. The bicycles were a plus for the grandkids. Overall a great vacation week.」

「If you wish to stay here please understand our experience before booking. When we pulled on the parking lot it was almost void of cars, usually a bad sign. The gentleman at the front desk was very courteous and helpful but the AC was struggling to keep it cool (understandable since it was close to 100 degrees outside and this place has many windows. It was rundown BUT you could tell they were trying to bring it back to life. The pool was down for renovation and there was no breakfast. The room...
