「Room was clean but felt kinda moist due to the amount of Lysol I’m assuming. Staff was 10/10, they have been really nice and helped with anything I needed. Plus, no one had an attitude 👍. Breakfast was aight.. nothing too crazy. If it’s free it’s for me. Loved that the place was about a 5 minute drive to the track so this was the perfect stay for a nice track day weekend at NCBike.」

The room was disgusting like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks or longer, multiple broken things in the room, the smell of the room was PUTRID. My pregnant friend had to sleep in the vehicle because of the awful conditions, after she got stuck in the bathroom because the door got stuck. I called beforehand to let them know we would be checking in late with our ETA, it took over 10 minutes to wake up the person working the front...

「What an amazing stay! The house was super comfy and so cute. So quiet and peaceful. It was the perfect getaway from hustle and bustle. We swam in the lake both at the house and also at Gaston day area. Ate at Suka sushi and it was fantastic! The owner was extremely responsive and checked on us at arrival. The owner also recommended some antique store and I got some sweet finds. Definitely a stay again kind of place!」

「3 generations came together to celebrate Thanksgiving here, and we had a wonderful time! We cooked a turkey on the gas grill; the house was very well stocked for cooking and serving a big meal for 15. We brought a folding table for an extra 6 seats in the kitchen/dining room, which was a perfect fit (turns out the house has a folding table and 6 nice folding chairs!).We enjoyed the fire pit and appreciated it was well stocked with wood. We enjoyed our stay eventhough it was cut short due to some extenuating circumstances with our family. Look forward to getting an opportunity to stay again in the future. 」

「The location was good for our family get-together. If you need dock space, you should coordinate with the owner, Tyler, to make sufficient room for your pontoon or power boat. There is very limited room on the outside of dock, as owner described as 9.5 x 2ft. We could not dock a rental pontoon boat or ski boat. We did not swim in dock area due to weeds, silt and algae.(Could not upload photo).」

「Overall, we did have a great stay! It’s not the cleanest but we didn’t actually realize that until departure when cleaning up. Under every bed was trash that wasn’t ours (candy wrappers, empty soap boxes, leftover power cords from previous renters). The master bathroom toilet constantly ran and leaked.
