「We've stayed in this area before. Great to be within the park and only have to get through the entrance gates once. It took us an hour to get to the gate. This cabin was the upstairs of a small house. Combined living, kitchen, and dining area. Small bedroom with queen bed and bathroom. NO AIR CONDITIONING. Pluses were: it is inside the park so you don't have to wait an hour everyday to get in; in a quiet beautiful setting away from the crowds at the park; nicely priced; comfortable. 「I'd rate this cottage, in all its grandeur, a 9.3/10. It is an ideal distance from the Yosemite National Park entrance. Surrounded by a quiet, amazing community this cottage truly gives the 1900s charming vibe. Come prepared to bat off swarming bees and wasps if intending to use the grill, however, this is probably a seasonal issue (spring/winter vs summer time). Summer heat is no joke in Mariposa so take advantage of the fans and swamp cooler, nonetheless, it was a great time!」

We were there during the heat wave so it was a little warm with only the fans, but it was doable!
