"I had a little hiccup with my reservation. I was asked to speak to the manager before checking out. He was so nice and apologized for the error and adjusted the rate for my 2 night stay. Staff were all very friendly. Would stay there again. "

"The Read House is a fantastic, historical property with “Gilded Age” decor and feel. The staff was fantastic in assisting me with a booking issue, and even went out of their way to give me a room that was a nice upgrade from the one I had reserved. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quaint, historical “vibe”, and centrally located in downtown."

"The hotel was very clean My only complaints are paying for parking and you couldn't always find a spot near yoir room, the pool area felt like a sana cause there wasn't a way for wind to blow out there. The pool was nice. "

"Overall, it was a great stay, and I enjoyed it. The only thing that was a little confusing was that the cabin is in Central Time, yet the check-in and check-out times are in Eastern Time. Which makes it a little confusing on the check in and checkout, but other than tha,t a great view and great experience"
