Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig im Hafenbereich von Mellerud und bietet von dort aus eine Vielzahl von Wandermöglichkeiten. "Spectacular setting, walking distance to Lacko Slott. Wonderful, warm, welcoming staff and excellent food—especially breakfast. Our room, no. 6, was one of the nicest I’d ever had the pleasure of inhabiting."

Go to a B & B instead

"Unfortunate “renovation” of lovely old building took all the charm and character and trashed it for artificial surfaces, ugly bland furnishings, and tiny cell-like rooms. Do hotels really get stars for having a pool table or a shiny plastic chandelier? Sad. Front desk staffed by cheerful young woman, which was the only saving grace of an empty town and depressing hotel. "
