「This home is very inviting and unique. My husband and I, another couple, and two dogs stayed for our anniversary. It was comfortable and had everything we needed to have a relaxing stay. 「This property was home to our group of 8 golfers this past weekend. All of the guys really enjoyed the setting. Fishing from the dock. Paddling the kayaks on the Crystal River. Sitting around the campfire. Watching the big TV in the family room. Eating meals in the screened-in porch while overlooking the river. I think the best part was having two well-stocked kitchens. We also loved its convenience to Crystal Mountain and Arcadia Bluffs.」

「My friend and I wanted to get away for the weekend to catch up, so we decided to go with this cabin. It was perfect for what we needed - super cozy, the beds were comfortable and clean. The only complaint I have as far as cleanliness was the amount of dog hair that was on the couch/living area. Otherwise it’s a great location right next to downtown! I would recommend.」

「We really enjoyed Betsie River Cabin, it was everything it advertised and more, we used the canoe and also kayaked the river. It was great to launch from the property! We had great campfires and played ping pong, the hot tub was great after a day on the river. The hosts are very gracious and thought of everything. We will probably return sometime!」

「If you're considering staying somewhere else, don't! This is THE place to be! The home is conveniently located close to many key areas, a short drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse City (why pay more) and the beach! Inside is spacious (you could sleep so many here!), neat and nicely decorated with all the amenities you could possibly need. If you're a nature person, the backyard is beautiful and so calming. 「“The Shed” is a cute little place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the daily grind. The place was so clean and well kept. Kate was so nice and friendly and made the stay feel so comfortable. You can see the care Kate and Ray took to make the shed a perfect getaway! Would definitely recommend this place for someone to visit!」

「We had a 11 person group stay here for a trip up north to go skiing at Crystal and celebrate my 30th bday. We enjoyed every inch of the property and wished we could’ve stayed longer! It would be a great property to enjoy in the summer for the pool. The LA lodge had everything we needed. They even shipped me some personal belongings I accidentally left behind. Thanks LA lodge!」

「Wonderful location for a quiet getaway with family...technically 3 families. It was cozy in the main house for 2 families of 4 each, then we had 2 adults w pets in the loft. It worked out for our crew. Enjoyed the kayaks, breakfast in the deck & being centrally located between the dunes & TC. Down side was some kind of paper wasps/hornets that stung a few times during the night upstairs in main house, but realtor said they’d send someone out. Also spent first 2 days trying to get WiFi password...
