"Great location, close to everything. Nice to have the kitchen, there were 4 of us staying overnight and the two who slept on the sofa bed said it was perfectly comfortable. The fridge didn't make any noise at all, which I think is important when you're sleeping in the same room as the kitchen! Good for an overnight stay, but I wouldn't really want to hang out there for any length of time. "

"The host is friendly, she sent a welcome e-mail and instructions early and responded on questions quickly. The house is a few km out from Avesta on river bank, nice and quiet. One rents a one room + kitchen + shower/wc whereas there may be other guests renting other parts of the house. The house and the furniture are pretty old, but fully functional (dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, etc.) It is the perfect place if one looks for a peaceful corner, wishes to make food oneself...

"Visiting this house is like traveling back in time, probably 70 -100 years. It seems that the owners did not have the spirit to bring the old house to a modern standard but, in my impression, they even tried to emphasize its small inconveniences. Unfortunately, our stay was very short, and the weather was rainy so we had little chance to really enjoy the place. I can imagine that not everybody will like the place, but I am sure there are many who will be happy to feel the house ambience. In...

"The owners are amazing. Theapartment is large and well equiped. We were staying hete for a weekend of geocaching. An excellent choice. We had breakfast and dinner at the apartment eveey evening. Logged our caches and planned the next days trip. "

"This hotel is beautiful on the inside. Large and comfortable rooms with amazingly comfy beds that are reclining. Huge clean bathroom, tons of electric outlets in the room. The lobby and restaurant is also very stylish with plenty of space, yet gives a cozy atmosphere with lighting and a fireplace. The food at dinner was great, and there was a huge selection at breakfast. Something for everyone! They even have a games room for kids to play foozeball or Ping pong. We didn’t have time to check out the pool, but we will be back next year!"
