"I cannot recommend this lodge highly enough. Each room is its own beachfront bungalow, well equipped and comfortable -- nothing posh. Service is kind and accommodating. Cuisine is fresh and delicious. While many guests come for sport fishing and other activities, all I did was chill out. It was paradise. Language note: While I mostly managed with my schoolboy French and a few pleasantries in Portuguese, some staff speak English, including the cheerfully energetic proprietor, Solange. Overall,...

"Great stay"

"I completely enjoyed my time here, great food, great staff, BEAUTIFUL environment. Waking up to the mangrove daily was priceless! If I go to Guinea Bissau 100 times I’d still stay there."

"I had a nice 4 day stay there. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. The shower was warm. The hotel restaurant was reasonably priced but they did run out of beef at one of my meals. Chicken was ok. The free airport shuttle was good. Overall a nice stay."

"Good place not too far from the airport."

"Het personeel is aardig, de keuken is goed, het onderhoud van kamer en badkamer is verdrietig stemmend. Er is wel een zwembad, maar die is niet in gebruik."

"Bissau doesn't have a large selection of hotels, but it was okay for a short stay. However, I won't book it next time. The driver was supposed to pick me up upon arrival, but no one from the hotel showed up. Good Wi-Fi from Starlink. Only one channel on TV."

"A great comfortable hotel in a very nice area"

"Waaaaaay overpriced. Old. Poor infrastructure. Old, noisy AC. WiFi terrible. Shower broken and leaky. Not worth the price. Sorry."

"clean, well located, good breakfast and nicerestaurant menu"

"Rooms were not as advertized. Bare with pallets for beds , no furniture no power and no running water. No cold drinks nowhere to get food on arrival. No reception. Miles from anywhere."

"施設は清潔で広々としていて、スタッフも親切でとてもよかったです。"

"Expedia did not honor the contact with me. I had to pay cash for the days I spent at MALAIKA HOTEL. I paid you $ 470.00 for my hotel stay. You did not event tell me you had no business with the hotel. The hotel spoke negatively about your tactics with them: they told that you sent people there but you never honored the payments. Please, reimburse my full payment as you know you have not paid your invoices with them for years."
