"This is a beautiful basement apartment up a steep long driveway . Not far from a small town with stores and restaurants if needed . Very gracious host . Beds very comfortable. Excellent linens on the beds . Plenty of clean towels . Deer in the yard when we got here .Owner Brian was welcoming , and helpful . Very peaceful location . Feels like you’re on top of your own mountain. "

"We wanted a relaxing getaway for a long weekend and that's exactly what we got. The house is located right on the river and we spent our mornings and evenings on the deck enjoying the view. It is within an hour to New River Gorge National Park and several state parks. There is plenty of space to explore near the house with the Elk River Trail right across the road. The house is clean and well-equipped and the owners are very communicative. We would definitely stay here again if we are going to...

"A beautiful little cottage in a retreat setting what was a minster type solitude type campground .No TV no WIFI no cell service just nature .So not for Teck savvy people that haft to have this. Just. peace and relaxation Patsy the cleaning was remarkable lady. She went out to make your stay was enjoyable. So just enjoy the peace and meditate"

"We stayed from Fri to Sun. Location has beautiful views of WV, some great trails, plenty of firewood and firewood ring locations to choose from as well as a pond with kayaks and paddle board. This is a location to disconnect as cell signal is poor. Owner does provide WiFi but only at certain public locations. Be aware there was no hand soap"
