When I asked for a different room I was told that none were available. The lobby and exercise room were clean. Breakfast was OK. The staff were polite and generally helpful.」

「Similar to a landlord special of quick patch work and fresh paint, as though the owner did just enough to make it look presentable without giving the home any sense of comfort. The house wasn't necessarily dirty but it definitely hadn't been thoroughly cleaned recently, with a thin layer of dust on the surfaces and spider webs in the corners.
