「Enjoyed our stay at the plough. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent. Room was a little small but well appointed, with tea making facilities, iron and ironing board, heater/ fan and hair drier. Bed comfortable. 1k from the centre of Hathersage, lots of parking for residents and bus stops outside.」

「Lovely room, perfect for relaxing after a day out walking. Chosen because it was dog friendly and it did not disappoint - good for walking into town and loved that there was a map showing us how to get there by avoiding the main road. Breakfasts were delicious! Thank you for our stay.」

「The staff were the best part of the hotel. Clearly someone is good at hiring. Physically, almost everything was a bit crooked and broken (including the door safety lock in our room, Ashover Suite). The Hamburger was disappointing at £18.50, given that it was clearly a frozen burger and cheap supermarket quality. The room was cold, and we could not figure out how to turn on the radiator, so i slept with my clothes on. The room was nice and grand, and i had a lovely hot bath in the morning. ...

「Friendly staff and the afternoon tea was delicious Some of the things in our room could do with being repaired and maybe a new mattress but overall it was a pleasant stay」
