「This is my go-to place to stay twice a year when I visit Culpeper. The courtyard is nice for walking your dog although you can't count on others to clean up after their pet but regardless, the staff has always been friendly, the rooms have been clean, and they have been working on upgrading the rooms. There are better hotels in the area, but for the price, service and upgraded rooms, I would recommend especially if you have a pet. 」

「The Inn was on a lovely property near a river walk. An amazing ale house is also on the property. Very quaint and comfortable. Games, books and a front porch swing were provided. Our hosts were accommodating and friendly. The Breakfests were exceptional with delightful farm fresh eggs and produce. Overall it was a very relaxing and fun getaway. A side note that Sperryville is a weekend town there was not much to do during the week. 」

「Contact less check in was very easy. Received detailed text with all necessary information and suggestions of things to do in the area prior to arrival. Room was clean and linens and sheets were nice quality.」

「I enjoyed being in my own, cozy little cabin near the woods as I found the tiny house to be a very homey and comfortable lodging, yet private and secure. The proprietors were very hospitable. I would recommend this place over a hotel room anytime. And I would hope to book it again if I’m in the area. 」

「Everything stood out! This place was perfect for our early family Thanksgiving - we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. It was so warm and inviting. Also, we were lucky enough to meet Brian upon our arrival and he was so welcoming that it was easy to see why his house felt like home for us. We had everything we needed and honestly couldn't have asked for more. If you are looking for a place to stay in the Rappahannock County area of Virginia, I highly recommend that you choose this one....

「Hilltop Hideaway is a very charming house out in the middle of beautiful country by itself. We only stayed one night but we were very impressed with how clean the house is.」

「Excellent proximity to Old Rag for hiking!Lots of room for a group not only to sleep, but to visit. Host was friendly, everything was in order and the property is pet-friendly! I appreciated the host's sense of humor in the welcome book :)This is an older, country home, so you have to go into the rental expecting that. Everything you would want to cook with was there, but had been well-used.Overall this was a wonderful value for the location, especially if split with a large group. 」
