"After a 5-day stay over on St. Thomas for my wife and I's honeymoon, we continued on to St. John and Gallows Point. As if our honeymoon couldn't get any better: enter the Gallows Point resort. Check in was incredibly easy, the property was immaculate (there was some construction on some of the residences occurring during our stay, but we didn't notice and were not disturbed at all by any of it), and our specific second story villa overlooking the bay was a sight to see every morning and night. Staff was incredibly friendly, our room was made up, dishes done for us, and bed made every single day of our stay--it was if we moved into a brand new room when we got home after galivanting around St. John every day. The location has to be one of the best on the island, easy walkable access to everything in Cruz Bay, easy release points to the roads that head into the national park and all the beaches around the island. The 362 Restaurant on property was a great spot to grab a high end dinner and obviously was very convenient to get to. The Gallows Point property also has a market where you could by groceries, alcohol and merch at reasonable prices--super convenient! It was awesome to see cats, plenty of hermit crabs, and best of all the peacocks roaming the property day and night. Gallows Point made everything very easy for my wife and me and I would highly, highly recommend staying here whilst on St. John."

"Fantastic place to stay. The managers were so nice, they were always nearby to answer questions and make sure we were having a good time. Our roo. Was kept very clean and stayed cool. The hotel had towels, chairs, snorkels, and other beach equipment for us to borrow as well as sunscreen and other toiletries left behind by other guests. They offer free parking and the hotel is an easy walk into Cruz Bay to get to the taxi stand or shopping/ restaurants. Hope to come back some day!"

"I rarely write reviews, but I felt this one was important to share. We recently stayed here and unfortunately had an issue with unexpected construction taking place in the building during our stay. The noise significantly impacted our ability to enjoy the property during the daytime, and I was admittedly very disappointed with the situation. However, what happened afterward completely changed my opinion. I reached out to management after our stay and explained my frustration. I made it clear that I was not asking for a full refund—I simply felt the inconvenience should be acknowledged with some reasonable compensation. Their response went far beyond what I expected. They apologized, took responsibility for the situation, and processed a full refund for our stay. I believe you learn a lot more about a business by how they handle a problem than when everything goes perfectly. Problems happen. What matters is whether a company listens to its customers and makes things right. They absolutely did. I also want to specifically recognize Adam, who was extremely kind, professional, and apologetic throughout our stay. I appreciate the way management ultimately handled the situation. They didn't just acknowledge my concerns—they went above and beyond to m"

"This place was interesting. We spent four days here and honestly really loved it but there are some pros and cons. PROS: -excellent location with a grocery store around the corner and just a 3 minute walk to Cruz bay -room was spacious -restaurant was OUTSTANDING -the whole staff made you feel like family and some guy even gave us some bananas he grows himself that was cool -complimentary breakfast (a delicious sweet bread with fruit and coffee or juice is included, they serve you at the restaurant) -room was very clean and tidy -outside foot wash for sand -felt intimate -they provided beach towels, beach bag, and 30 spf sunscreen if needed -a big list of things to do and how to get places around St. John CONS: -no on site laundry although the laundromat is like a one minute walk but is a bit pricey -housekeeping is once a week (not a huge con for us but it may be for some people) -BED and PILLOWS were TERRIBLE! Spring mattress was incredibly worn and pretty uncomfortable -its location is an uphill walk that can be a little intense for some people Overall the pros out weigh the cons for us and we will be rebooking here. The price was fair for what they offer (we went in the offseason) but you can’t beat this location and it seemed a lot of locals really loved it here."

"The pools was absolutely amazing! The room we stayed in was very nice, we had plenty of towels and loved the outdoor shower. Kitchen seemed good although we did not do any cooking. Short drive to Cruz Bay!"
