「This Riad is not near the Medina as was suggested in the listing. It was a 30 minute walk. Not a single person was there, besides us. They were kind, but this Riad was not very hospitable like the others we stayed in. They were not able to assist us very much or suggest anything. The room was smaller than the photos suggested, and it was cold and rainy but the heater in the room did not work very well as we needed. It was also more expensive than other Riads which are much better. We hoped more...

「We booked Diyar Marhaba but at checkin were moved into a another completely different property which was more of a hostel setup and that facility was significantly subpar to what we paid for. Apparently they had unplanned construction at their property. The other facility was so bad, we decided to leave the following day in spite of having paid for 3 nights. The following day they "made accomodations" to move us back to the facility we booked and expected, but wanted us to move to another room ...

「We had a wonderful stay!. The property was very clean and comfortable. We were two couples traveling together and stayed one night in a suite. The blue color guest house very nice with nice Terrace. Beautiful Mountains View The receptionist, manager, and housekeeping staff were all excellent, friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We truly felt at home. They even allowed us a little extra time for late checkout, which helped us a lot. We loved our stay and highly recommend this clean and friendly...

「Stayed for 2 nights with a family of 4. We loved it, mostly because of the staff. They are amazing and super helpful. The accommodation is not particularly easy to find and there is no designated parking but the staff came and got us from the main road, helped us find parking in a local garage, then carried our suitcases up the entire hill and into our room. So the lack of luxury, having private parking was a non-issue. Also when visiting chefchaouen you can't really expect parking or easy...

「This is a very cozy and friendly riad. I enjoyed chatting with the staff and even other guests during breakfast. I heard the owner is German, and you can notice some German equipment in the bathroom. The original doors and windows in the rooms add a special charm to the guesthouse. If you’re traveling with a suitcase, be prepared for some ups and downs on the way from the Parador Hotel rotary, where taxis drop you off. Special thanks to Walid for introducing me to carob, a local specialty!」
