「This was an amazing experience and the highlight of our trip to Costa Rica. Giselle and the team at esquipulas took wonderful care of us. We got some amazing birding pictures, saw the feeding of the king vulture and loved every moment of our tipi experience. And the food was amazing! We can’t wait to go back」

「From the picture, the property is actually smaller, there is no bbq grill so cooking becomes a problem if you want to cook meet. The running water was turned on hours after we arrived, and no Hot water at all. Makes taking a shower on rainy days a drag. Not enough pillows or the proper kitchen utensils. And trash was not picked enough, because I was told to put it under the house when full, so wild stray dogs would tear into the bags and drag trash all over yard. They need to get lidded trash...

「La Mariposa is amazing! It is a beautiful! The food is wonderful. The pools are refreshing. There is a sloth and cat that live in the lobby. We saw lots of monkeys on the property. The staff was very helpful. We did the kayak tour of the Mangroves set up by the hotel for us. It was amazing and worth the education and fun! We highly recommend staying here!」

「We enjoyed our 2 night stay at Ecotica. The pool area is well kept and inviting. The rooms could use a bit of updating but filled our purpose as it was spacious. The bathroom was small in proportion to the room. The breakfast served was fresh, but the fruit didn’t seem fresh. Nothing spectacular but there were few choices.
