「Stayed overnight. No water I couldn't wash myself, a/c bearly working, no internet connection, no bar to have a coffe fresh water, no restaurant to have a meal, staff barely talking at all in any language....realy sad atmosphere. I use to stay in this hotel and it was a decent place totally opposit of what is now.」

「L'Hôtel est situé dans le centre de Yaoundé mais à l'écart de la circulation et à l'ombre des arbres dans un cadre très agréable. Restaurant -bar agréable avec terrasse. Chambre en bon état général, climatisation efficace et silencieuse. La salle de bain mériterait d'être refaite en particulier la baignoire mais c'est OK pour prendre une douche, avec une bonne pression d'eau. Propreté OK.」

「設備は非常に古く、かつての山王のキャピタルヒルトン立て替え直前の時の様な状態。ただし、決して、ひどいものではなく、単に古いということ。サービスを含めて、普通レベルの国際的スタンダードを十分備えているといえる。ジムも古いが広くて設備は十分。24時間利用可能。出来た当初は、素晴らしいホテルと感じられたことでしょう。朝食については、ビュッフェセレクション、味ともに、しっかりしています。エグゼクティブラウンジはやや手狭ではあるものの、料理･飲み物等、十分満足なレベル。メインダイニングが、夜、営業していないのは大きな難点（昼のランチのみ）。料金＄３００/泊程度に比較すると、他に競争相手がいれば、値段の価値はなし。しかし、恐らくカメルーンで一番良いホテルで、このくらいしか国際レベルのホテルがないことを考えれば、他のチョイスはない。一般的な最低限の国際的なスタンダードで、宿泊してホッとできることを期待するのであれば、値段に関係なく、このホテルしかない。ちなみに、値段と施設･サービスの相対感だけを考えれば、バンコクだったらネット割引で＄１００を少し切るくらいの値段でなければ誰も泊まらないだろう。」

「Major problem: dirty (brown!) water flowing in the sink and the shower. When reported to Hotel Management, they only said that “the hotel is not responsible”, that “I should just wait for the water to clear”. This happened 4 days out of my 9-day stay. Shocked and disappointed that the Hotel Management is not acknowledging the health risks for its customers. I sent an email to the owner, Mme Françoise Puene (Mamy) Nyanga. She did not respond. I would not go back to Hotel Franco Yaoundé or...

「To much heat because of frequent power outage and their generator can on run for a few hours. 」

「Decent hotel in a town with few decent ones. Low value for money but you can't find much better, so you have to adapt. Service was ok; avoid the laundry (I paid express twice and both times got it 2 days later only, the second time they wanted to return me the late laundry after we left the country, saying that they'd send it abroad... really I have to believe that? = avoid the laundry). - Restaurant is decent (for one week stay), some professional staff worked there. - Ah, my fully-prepaid stay...
