「There are several cafes very near the property, and public pay parking is just around the corner, about 5-10 min walk. The hotel has a nice petite déjeuner for breakfast. You can walk fairly easily from the train station, about 30-45 min walk downhill, but I would take a taxi back, when leaving, although it can be done. The hotel is in a nice area.」

「Very nice hotel in Brive. Note that while they have a small private parking area you have to reserve in advance. It wasn’t obvious and when I got there the parking area was full. However there were plenty of paid street parking very close to the hotel and I got a spot right in front. Otherwise very nice hotel and helpful staff.」

「Chambre exiguë, douche , mieux vaut ne pas laisser tomber son savon sinon on se retrouve assis sur les toilettes….pas de penderie…. Très bas de gamme.」

「Excellent staff, very polite and helpful. Beautiful, serene surroundings. Breakfast or a glass of champagne out in the patio surrounded by beautiful plants is amazing.」

「Absolutely idyllic location, surrounded by greenery with a view down to the lake. Large room in the old part of the castle was clean and beautifully furnished with a large bathroom. The pool is situated in a peaceful part of the grounds and was very relaxed spot to stay with a book. The owners were very helpful and welcoming - we ordered chilled wine on the terrace and a lovely breakfast the next day. Highly recommend staying here.」
