"It was just as we expected and what we wanted—-a quiet remote place—-with more birds than people! We were so lucky with the weather too….water out front and a lovely breeze most of the time. We brought food in and enjoyed fresh fish and relaxing times. We slept well with nearly all the windows open for the night air. The tide came in and we kayaked a little out front. Super quaint place to stay. Thank you so much Marcie for the hospitality—-including eggs and veggies! P.S. we left “Flat Butchie”, my adventurous brother who passed a few years back—-he loved Nova Scotia and would have liked that place—so he stayed in the front room"

"I wish we were still there . The house views were beyond our expectations of the ocean and the sunsets. You can tell the owners put a lot thought into the layout to get the best views of ocean and land. To be able to sit on patio and enjoy the ocean views and watch the Blue Jays on inside TV at the same time was amazing After a day of exploring the hot tub was a perfect way to unwind and relax over looking the ocean .The kitchen is supplied with all your needs and we enjoyed BQ meals on the patio.
