"Hotel itself was great. Room was clean. Location cant be beat. Staff were very friendly. The only reason i rated it less than perfect had NOTHING to do with the hotel. Cannot stress enough—-the hotel was terrific! Heads up to travelers. The town of Portosin is nearly dead in the off season. The town (and many others in the area such as Porto Do Son) need to figure year-round activities to encourage ongoing tourism. "The hotel is in a building that is historic and several hundred years old. It is also the only hotel right on the square where pilgrims arrive and next to the cathedral. It is the best place to stay and enjoy the best part of Santiago. Breakfast was great, our stay there was a truly magical experience."

"This was such a beautiful hotel with a marvelous view. The saltwater pool was so refreshing and the beds extremely comfortable. We were given a room with two double beds for three adults without a cot but still had enough space. The shower was so refreshing, I only regret that I didn’t get to take a bath in the deep jet tub."

"It was my first time in spain and for someone that doesn’t really speak fluent spanish the staff was very helpful. The taxi service they call is fast and they let us keep our bags in storage for our last day even though we checked out at 12pm our train to madrid wasn’t until 8pm so we were able to walk around without bringing the luggage everywhere"
