Quick trip

Enjoyed our stay. Food in the resort was not great, I tried the boneless wings and there was. The bed in the room was horrible. Everyone was very friendly and everything was pretty clean. Would stay again but maybe try a different room with a newer mattress.

Great Stay

We had a great stay the condo was exactly as pictured and everything was great. The Palms of Destin was nice we didn’t really expect there to be loud parties down at the bistro/bar every night but it wasn’t terrible. The only negative I can give is that the couches in the condo have seen better days and could stand to be updated. But over all had a great stay and would come back again!

Average place. Overall good experience. Room for improvement.

Overall we had a great stay. The place was clean and had a great location. The pool area was the highlight of the accommodation. The negatives were that the dryer ripped up a swimsuit and two pairs of underwear. I also noticed part of someone else’s swimsuit that had apparently stayed before us that had the same problem. Also, it would have been nice to have a beach umbrella and chairs.

Birthday vacation was a blast!

We loved this resort! Staff was super friendly and the room went above and beyond expectations!!! We came for our daughter’s 15 and 17 year old birthdays in October. Everything was super convenient and close by. Walmart was just down the road and beach access was within walking distance. Plenty of places to park if you choose to drive instead.We will definitely be staying here again!

Close to the beach

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean and close to the beach. The pool area was well maintained and we enjoyed using it. Our main problem was the second bedroom. Let’s be honest, it is a utility closet with a very uncomfortable bunk bed jammed into it. The washer and dryer are housed here, along with the smallest of closets. I realize that the closet technically allows this room to be called a bedroom, but this minuscule closet was filled with cleaning supplies and was unusable. Because there is no room for a dresser, I had to live out of my suitcase for the length of the stay, which I had to store in the bathroom. There are also no windows, which made it feel incredibly claustrophobic. I fully realize there is nothing you can do about this, and I’m not asking for an apology, but I guess a more accurate description and better photos would have been appreciated. I also realize that this condo is titled a 2 bedroom Jr. bedroom suite, but maybe a more appropriate title would be a 2 bedroom toddler suite to better reflect the size of the bedroom. However, the management company was very responsive when we had a maintenance issue, and as long as we weren’t in that room, everything was fine. I would wholeheartedly recommend this unit for parties of 2.

Senior trip club 50’s

Where we stayed, Palms resort had too many rules. We were unable to drink on or by the pool. We are all adults, and it would have been better if we able to relax with a drink , while we were sitting in the pool. I’m not sure who made the rules, but we had to take our 2 large bags of trash out, take all linens off bed, wash towels and wash rags daily, due to not having a lot in the condo, fridge stunk, we had to wash dishes before we left, it was very dusty and sandy, we had to call housekeeping twice, because they did not do what they were supposed to do, chairs on balcony had holes in two of them, I don’t understand why we have a high cleaning fee when it is clear they do not clean. Also, we had to carry luggage due to not having enough carts for the guest! Toilet stopped up,twice,Ran out of hot water easily. Will not stay with them again.

The property was nice. The pools and outdoor areas were well kept and clean. The staff was nice and friendly. Our room was clean but the furniture was a little uncomfortable. We wish the room had some cards, board games, or puzzles so just there was something to do during the rainy moments of the day. We came from out of state so we couldn’t bring much with us or even buy us to take home. This property is good if you’re able to bring your own beach things like an umbrella.

Convenient condo

We enjoyed our six week stay as snowbirds in this clean, convenient condo. Check in was smooth and easy and the condo was comfortable. We have stayed twice at The Palms of Destin, in different condos, and been pleased each time.

Gorgeous

Loved it so nice loved the pool. only issue was the bottom mattress on the bunk bed was so thin it was like sleeping on a board, I ended up buying a mattress pad for it so was a little better then.

The resort was beautiful and convenient to activities and restaurants. The actual condo was beautiful and clean. my grown children had a wonderful time and it was good to see them play and enjoy themselves like they did as children. PRICELESS.
