Enjoy The Crystal Villas A1 in beautiful Destin. This 1 bedroom, 1. 5 bath unit located on the 1st floor, offers fabulous views of the Gulf of Mexico. This unit has 1 King, 2 Bunk Beds, 1 Queen Sofa Bed and sleeps 6. With 2 TVs, 1 DVD player, and CD stereo system, you will enjoy all the comforts of home. This ground floor unit offers a private patio facing the beach, washer and dryer in the unit, and internet access. NOTE: This property does not have an elevator.

Wonderful location

We very much enjoyed our stay in Crystal Villas. The location was absolutely perfect, right on the ocean, close to all the shops and stores and not far from Navarre and Pensacola. The condo was beautiful however we did a counter several small cockroaches and some ants in the kitchen. Overall we had a great stay and you come back again!

Nice Layout, But Needs Improvement

The condo has a nice layout, but there were a few issues that made our stay less enjoyable. We saw cockroaches in different parts of the unit, which made us uncomfortable. The master bedroom stayed quite hot, even with the AC on, and the hallway bed didn’t get much air either, so sleeping was tough. There were also some cleanliness concerns — the bed didn’t feel very clean, and we noticed stains on the chair and sofa bed that were hard to ignore. With some improvements to the cleaning and cooling, this place could be much more comfortable for guests.

Looks of listing and firt impression....were amazing. But if you stay you have to also be okay with staying in a Cockroach infested kitchen. DO NOT rent Crystal Villas A01!!!

Miserable experience with Vacasa

When we arrived at 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 17, and entered the unit, it was very hot and uncomfortable. The thermostat did not work at all … nothing appeared on the thermostat display.We ended up having to spend more money the stay in a hotel Thursday and Friday nights, it was so hot in this unit.And I tried to resolve the issue. Over two days, I texted 7 times with no resolution. I also called on Friday morning, and someone said they would let the local property manager know.Only because I got lucky and saw a person leaving a vehicle marked Vacasa in the parking lot later Friday morning did we get some resolution. This Vacasa employee had no idea the air conditioning did not work so he called his supervisor. The supervisor asked “Is A1 our unit?” Clearly, Vacasa needs to work on everyone’s communication skills.A couple of hours later an AC repairman came to fix the air conditioning and said that the AC in the two units above us was not working either. The repairman also said that he was on the property Friday night and would have fixed our AC if he had been aware of the issue.The unit was still too warm to sleep in on Friday night.I cannot in good conscious recommend using Vacasa ever again. While I was able to reach someone by text and by phone, they simply said they’d pass along the message … and then we heard nothing.Other issues: ants in the bathroom, and one of the toilets was unusable because the toilet bowl would not refill.

I want to start off by saying the staff was friendly, accommodating, and understanding of our situation. My girlfriend and I booked this location based on the photos, and I just want to stress that they do not match the actual rooms at all.

Perfect Beach Access, Comfortable Beds, Great Beach Trip with Friends

We stayed in Crystal Villas on a ground level unit and had a fabulous trip, love the close proximity to the beach, great location close to Crystal Beach area, walking distance to Camille's, one of our favorites. Master bedroom mattress slept like a dream. Only reason for giving 4 stars is that the condo could use some updates in the main living/kitchen area.

Relaxing stay on the Beach

We have never been to Destin and this beach is outstanding! The condo was clean although I was a bit unsure about possible cockroaches never saw one! It is a little outdated but the bed was comfortable shower gel was empty, It had a musty smell but I happened to have a room spray, may be from the old carpet in the bedroom.

A great 4 days in Destin, with perfect weather and great ocean views from our patio. I’ve stayed here twice. It’s always so clean and well appointed. No surprises, all that we needed, close to Publix and shopping. Can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

Unit smelled spectacularly clean as front door opened, care taken even in utensils in kitchen drawers, had all we needed, comfy couches, bed, and patio furniture overlooking the reason we come!

air vents dust and dirt all over, floor tile grout nasty, comfortable king bed.

The air vents in the ceiling are full of dust (hanging out) and dirty. Very nasty. Roaches can easily come in thru doorway since there’s no weather stripping to prevent it. Large roaches. Grout in floor tiles super dirty. Carpet very worn out and dirty. Bed very comfortable.
