"Property is not at all as described! First there is no operational Splash Pad as everything in the entire building is under construction or malfunctioning! We had mounds of dirty linens stashed throughout the unit that after 2 days someone came & picked up, several failed commitments to have someone come clean the unit, wifi did NOT work, shower light was broken, filthy unit, epoxy (glue) layered the entire entry way covering shoes & stroller wheels … Avari text outside of VRBO application & it...

"My husband and I traveled from NY here for 11 nights. Initially the front desk staff was great. Our time spent here was amazing, the staff were always cleaning. All the amenities were great. But what really stood out were the ladies that worked in the kitchen and breakfast area. These women go over and above friendly. The food is delish and always full and hot. The area kept neat and clean. But the personalities of these ladies… these are the women you want to be around. My husband and I are born again Christians and we were even invited to attend church with one of the ladies. Which we did, and it was beautiful and spirit filled. If and when we ever come back to Destin we will stay here, (and attend church at The Sanctuary in Fort Walton). I can’t give these ladies enough praise. We left very early in the morning and were not able to say good bye to them. So if you get to read this, God bless you all abundantly!!"

"I did not like the fact that even thought the room Was paid in advance they requiresd a 100.00 hold on my bank card for us to sleep there. And first said it would be refunded in 2-3 days. But then later was told 7-10 days. And that was the gas money I had to get to the next destination so I had to skip the rest of the trip"

"We liked the hotel and the distance it is from the beach. It was about 6 min wack to the beach. The hotel also had a pool in the property which was also very nice. The breakfast was ok. The hotel itself does need some updates but overall was good"

"Honestly , this was the best hotel experience I have ever had!! The staff was friendly, the breakfast was great and we were able to have our dogs there. The only person who was rude was a lady named Shan. She had major attitude and they also didn’t clean the room the three days we were there and never refilled the towels but overall 8/10. I would stay there again if I were to visit Destin."
