Great location in historic and walk friendly and safe neighborhood of central Des Moines. Very spacious spaces with plenty of room for cooking and hanging out. Really enjoyed the spaces and access to a grassy yard for evening outside time. Great place to spend a week with family.

Great Stay

We had a great stay here. The host was very responsive and was willing to make some accomadations for us. House was clean and a nice space for multiple couples traveling for a weekend wedding.

A great neighborhood and comfortable place to stay. It would have been improved with table lamps in the bedroom where my husband and I stayed, living room chairs in the living room. There was a nice sofa but folks ended up siting on the carpeted floor.

Quiet historic bungalow

Easy to locate, nice neighborhood. Perfect for an evening walk!Lovely spaces with natural light. Comfortable beds. The kitchen is well-supplied. We appreciated the generous shower supplies.We’d stay here again in Des Moines/Altoona area.

This property is a duplex in a historic home that has been updated. The living room, dining room, and kitchen are all large enough for many people to gather. It's wonderful that all the bedrooms are on one floor and easy to access. There are plenty of amenities in the kitchen, lots of bathroom towels, plus shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the bathrooms. The location is super easy to find, lovely area, and quick access to to I235. Great communication with the host.

Comfortable and convenient

It was a short distance from Well Fargo Stadium which makes it super convenient. Everything was clean. Easy check in process, property owner was responsive to questions. Would stay at this property again. Would love to have TVs in the bedrooms though.
