「We chose this house so we could visit Skellig Island. Sadly, the trip was cancelled due to stormy weather but we didn't mind too much as the house was such a pleasure to hunker down in! We used our downtime to catch up on showers, laundry, rest, and relaxation before resuming our tour around Ireland. 「What can I say, an absolutely gorgeous house and what a view!! The house exceeded our expectations- we travel with 2 wheelchair users and often struggle but this house was perfect for us. Kathleen was very quick at responding to our messages and extremely helpful with all our queries. The local area was full of friendly people and so very beautiful. I would 100% recommend this place for a perfect holiday, we all would love to go again」

Zimmer sind gemütlich und soweit alles vorhanden. Da wir absolute Ruhe bei uns zu Hause gewöhnt sind, war es im Haus für uns etwas hellhörig. Wir hatten nicht das Glück unsere Vermieter persönlich kennenzulernen, jedoch ein geäußerte Wunsch wurde unverzüglich umgesetzt.. vielen lieben Dank! 「Es ist ein kleines Cottage hinter einem Haus der Vermieter, aber komplett unabhängig. Lage sehr schön auf Valentia Island, ca. 5km bis zum Festland. Guter Ort um auch ein bisschen länger (~ 1 Woche) zu verweilen. Durch Insellage aber relativ weite Wege z.B. nach Kilkenny o.ä. ACHTUNG: Buchung über Travelnest (TN): hier habe ich schlechte Erfahrung gemacht, da TN zunächst eine Probebuchung auf die Kreditkarte macht und zwar in brit. Pence, dann sperrt Mastercard die Karte, weil sie illegalen...

「The property is outstanding and we could have sat on the couches and stared out the window, all week. You can see cliffs, a beach and a beautiful view to hills on the other side of the bay. We had a couple of days of poor weather and simply stayed in and enjoyed the property. We had a few mechanical issues but most of them were our own ignorance of how the appliances worked. 「We had a wonderful stay at Skellig Bay Cottage! The house was spacious and comfortable and had everything that we needed. The location was perfect for relaxing in front of the views and short day trips to all of the sights. Our favorite part of the house was the large ocean front window.
