The Captains Lookout is a pet-friendly, 3 bedroom 2.5 bath townhome with a hot tub that places you central to everything that Depoe Bay, home of the World’s Smallest Harbor, and the Central Oregon coast have to offer.
From our windows or deck you can watch the bay for our pod of gray whales, the charter boats using the harbor, or the breathtaking sunsets. Just a short walk to great restaurants, the shops of Depoe Bay, and the scenic grandeur of the Pacific Ocean crashing on the rocky cliffs.
Perfect for a family vacation, a romantic getaway, or a group of friends.

Property Features:
Upstairs is the primary bedroom with a king size bed and a full bath with a deep soaking tub topped off with fantastic panoramic views of the ocean. This area includes a space to sit and relax with your morning coffee. Whale watch using the binoculars or spotting scope provided for your use.
Queen and full sized bedrooms await our guests on the lower level, along with a gaming area and full bath with shower only.
The main level includes a gas fireplace, half-bath, fully equipped kitchen with cooking basics, breakfast bar w/ seating, stainless steel appliances, dishware & flatware, knife set, coffee maker, gas stove, dishwasher and more.

NOTE: Requires Stairs - Bedrooms at The Captains Lookout are located upstairs and downstairs from the main living area. Bathroom on the main level is only a ½ bath. There are also 3 steps to enter from the front or through the garage.

Outdoor space:
Lower level patio includes a brand new 6-person hot tub with curtains for privacy, the main deck offers plenty of seating to hang out, whale watch and enjoy the sunsets as well as a gas barbeque with grill utensils.
Amenities:
Main level, primary, queen and gaming areas have SmartTVs, YouTube TV provided, and other streaming services (Netflix, Disney+, Paramount, Amazon, etc.) are loaded for you to use with your own streaming accounts. Free WiFi (strong signal) with a laptop friendly workspace is also provided.

Rounding out the amenities is a washer/dryer, Iron & Board, towels/linens, complimentary toiletries, hair dryers, trash bags/paper towels, basic soaps, shampoo, toilet paper, hangers, extra pillows and blankets as well as a few beach chairs.

Parking:
Free parking is available on premises with 1 (vehicle) space in the garage and 2 (vehicles) on the driveway.

Location:
Depoe Bay, Oregon is centrally located along the Pacific coast. The Captains Lookout is 2 ½ hours away from Portland, Oregon. Newport (to the south) & Lincoln City, Oregon (to the north) are within 20 minutes of the townhome.

Other locations north of Depoe Bay include Tillamook (55 miles), Rockaway Beach (70 miles), Cannon Beach (95 miles) and Seaside, Oregon is a little over 100 miles away along US 101.

To the south there is Seal Rock (23 miles), Yachats (37 miles), Florence (62 miles), and Coos Bay, Oregon (111 miles).

University of Oregon in Eugene is 2 hours away with Oregon State University in Corvallis within an hour and a half of Depoe Bay.

House Rules: The Captains Lookout has a maximum occupancy of 6, children & infants are welcomed, pets considered (with additional fee), smoking of any kind is not allowed. Wheelchair inaccessible as steps are required to access townhouse and levels with bedroom, minimum age of primary renter is 21, no parties allowed. No cooking of seafood inside, however a grill is available on the main deck for your use. A keypad is available 24 hours a day to provide entry for guests. Quiet hours 10pm to 9am.

Check-in time is 4pm and check-out time is 11 am with any exception arranged before arrival.
