The definition of a conundrum is "a confusing and difficult problem or question" - for me, the conundrum is how effusive should I be about this place and the family that owns and operates this beautiful farm? I mean, if I really tell everyone how absolutely perfect this rental experience was, and how cool Meg and Terry (and their family) are, then what are the chances that word gets out and this place becomes booked every time I want to go see a concert at Red Rocks?
I guess the cat is out of the bag, so to speak. So, I might as well give up the goods.
Let's start with the cottage. Completely spacious and comfortable for our party of 5. Could have easily accommodated 6. The place is stocked, roomy and really well laid out for a group to hang out but not be too much up in each other's business.
The grounds are breathtakingly beautiful. This is a working farm, and the flowers (peonies when we were there) were beautiful. The natural pond pool is a work of art (and super fun)! The owners live on the property, but their house is away from the cottage, and never once did we feel like we didn't have privacy when we wanted it.
Not that we wanted much privacy. Our entire group fell in love with Terry and Meg. They are such cool people. I am certain if we lived closer, we'd all hang out and bbq, throw back a few beverages and become fast friends. They both work extremely hard to make sure your stay is perfect, while also managing the work of the farm.
20 stars!
