The room was spacious and clean with a lovely ocean-view, and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The common areas at the hotel were stunning. The breakfast was superb, it had multilpe choices including everything from an omelette station to smoothie bowls. The pool area was huge, and it also had excellent service. There were also some daily activities like sunrise yoga etc arranged by the hotel, and the gym had all the necessary equipment. Absolutely loved my stay at the Bali Beach Hotel, will go there again next time when visiting Bali!

This hotel was excellent in all aspects. A pleasant walk gets you into the hub of Sanur along the beachfront. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive.

I want to start by saying the staff at the hotel were amazing and really accommodated us within their means. However, I booked this hotel as it was a VIP hotel with Expedia and I thought I would receive a room upgrade, however when I arrived at the hotel. I was told by the staff that they don’t honour the link between Expedia status and the hotel. That was really disappointing on Expedia and the hotels behalf. We were told we could upgrade for $150 AUD a night. Upon arrival to our room we kicked off our shoes and within minutes we both had glass in our feet, the room was not cleaned properly. We saw the manager the next morning and were compensated with a free conditional dinner. A few nights later, about 10pm we were asleep in the room and a strange man entered the room, I stirred as he left. I quickly got up and called reception. Upon investigation it was confirmed another guest entered my room. I was told that the lock on the door was not working property. I asked to change rooms as I was now very nervous, however compensated with a spa voucher and no room change. The staff at the hotel were great and heard my concerns, however it left a lingering safety concern. The location is great suited us, the activity staff were awesome and the general amenities were good. Would I stay there again? I am not sure! I would need to be assured they would do better at assuring my safety and honouring the Expedia program and upgrade or both companies being transparent in the offers.

Incredible hotel and vip experience. I got an upgrade to an executive suite which made our experience even better. Hotel is very well maintained and offers a modern architecture and contemporary look. Breakfast at Toro restaurant was incredible with plenty of choices and healthy options as well. Swimming pool is amazing and very large. Hotel offers a front beach area with plenty of space. I simply loved.

Dette hotel vidste sig at være vores rejse’s helt store overraskelse. Vi bookede meget spontant fordi vi havde lyst til at opleve endnu et område på Bali og det skuffede bestemt ikke. Hele indgangen til hotellet er i sig selv ganske breathtaking. Arkitekturen er super flot og det er meget tydeligt at se at hotellet er renoveret og i ekstrem fin stand. Vi kunne ikke andet end glæde os endnu mere da vi blev ført gennem den første del. Opholdet var skønt. Poolen var så dejlig og rolig, værelset var hyggeligt og rent. Det eneste vi kunne komme med af feedback var udvalget i morgenmadsbuffeten hvor vi manglede noget som en french-toast, pandekage/vaffel station som ellers er meget normalt på andre hoteller. Udvalget var en anelse mindre men maden vi fik var super lækker. Det samme med udvalget i poolbaren. Vi spiste aftensmad på en af hotellets restauranter og maden der var super lækker! Meget god kvalitet og super god service generelt. Stranden er så lækker og ren, og meget idyllisk med den strandpromenade man kan følge langs kysten. Kæmpe anbefaling herfra.

Superlative Sanur Stay

Last year we stayed at the Meru, this year at its sister the Bali Beach hotel. Couldn’t find a fault in our stay, lovely room with a killer view of the whole of Sanur. Perfect location with the best kept safe and sandy beach. The food from breakfast to dinner was amazing.
