I went in April, so peaceful. Walked to the beach and many trails. The village is very pretty. Breakfast was amazing, so tasty choices. On my final day I had to leave early and I was provided with a packed breakfast to take on the road with me.

We stayed at Hotel Op Diek for a weekend girls’ trip, and it was the perfect choice! The location in Den Hoorn is peaceful yet close enough to explore Texel easily by car. The hotel itself has such a cozy and welcoming vibe — you can feel it’s a former farmhouse with a lot of charm. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The breakfast was a highlight — fresh, local, and with plenty of choice to start the day right. It was the perfect base for exploring Texel and also for just unwinding together after a fun day out. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a warm, authentic, and relaxing stay on Texel. Would definitely come back! 🌸✨

Prima hotel enkel jammer dat er geen beschutte standplaats is voor fietsen. Personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Onze kamer was een beetje verouderd maar in prima staat alles is aanwezig. Op een koeling voor drank na, voor als de bar gesloten is s'avonds.
