It was here that Future President John F Kennedy wrote his inaugural address and selected his cabinet. It was also here that Joseph Kennedy had a stroke in 1961 that left him unable to speak. And, it was here that JFKs nephew William Kennedy Smith was accused and acquitted of rape in 1991. The home was sold for 4.9 Million dollars in 1995.

The host was welcoming and good with communicating. The home was as pictured, the outdoors lush. (Bring mosquito repellent, as the lushness draws them.) we enjoyed the firepit and pool, and the home was clean and well stocked.

Amazing time with family

My brother lives in Boynton Beach and this was perfect to be near him but have our own space. Yvette was wonderful and super easy to work with. Home is wonderful and plenty of space for everyone.

Perfect!!

It was all we had hoped for…just as described. Pleasantly surprised that there was a welcome basket with goodies and a bottle of wine. After a 12 hour drive, this was much appreciated. The house was perfect for us! We will be back!! Thank you.

Excellent location close to everything. Place is a bit tired.

Overall it’s located in a great location close to everything. The house is dated and the pool is not really inviting like in the photo we didn’t use it. . The yard is very buggy due to the “tropical look” of the property. The house was clean but full of salamanders. Property manager was nice and responsive.

Tropical Paradise!

I was here to shoot a TV show for Outdoor Channel. I’ve been to Florida many times for work and this is, by far, the coolest property we've rented. Very quiet, surrounded by giant greenery, pool and everthing as-described on the VRBO site. We'll be back!

Beautiful and Comfortable Oasis

My family and I stayed here for a week. We had a wonderful time. The house is very comfortable and very private. We travelled with my kids along with the grandparents and everybody had a bedroom with its own bathroom in their own “wing” of the house. Nobody heard the baby cry at night because all the bedrooms are so separated. The pool is a tropical oasis. There is a lot of foliage and it’s gorgeous. However, there are a lot of bugs as a result. Bring bug spray. The beds are very comfortable. Air conditioning works well. The house itself is a little dated from a decor perspective but it adds to the charm. Would definitely stay again. Also, we forgot something and Yvonne, the property manager, mailed it back for me. She went above and beyond.

Loved our stay -- perfect for our family of 5 adults

I affirmatively liked what others have termed the "somewhat dated" feel of the place. Everything was in good working order, and very comfortable. And it's not so standardly modern that it is stripped of character. Kitchen was well stocked. We used the grill and enjoyed making meals there. Would've loved the pool water to be cooler --but there's nothing hosts can do about the Florida heat! I can't think of anything to change. Thank you!

Tropical paradise!

We were in Delray for our son’s wedding! We stayed here with our family and the house contained everything we needed for a relaxing and productive stay. Highly recommend this well appointed home.

USTA National Clay Courts

Great space !

Best house for our trip

We originally had a trip set up in Fort Meyers for my 50th, but due to Hurricane Ian, the area was blown away and this was plan B. The house turned out Perfect! Each person had their own room, and the Beds were all so comfortable, the pool area was an oasis, and it rained, so we also had a great sitting area inside that was perfect for us women to sit and chat chat chat! It was close to downtown Delray. It was the perfect House for my 50th ! Thank you for the memories!!!!

An incredible sanctuary....

Unlike many travelers who are seeking a vacation spot, our two families were seeking a spot to evacuate from an incoming hurricane on the west coast of Florida where we live. Anyone who has experienced that knows the stress and urgency that accompanies that decision, and our hosts could not have been more understanding and accommodating. The property is exactly as it is displayed on the site, and was incredibly comfortable for the entire time we were there. I recommend this home for anyone looking to have a peaceful and spacious space to enjoy a vacation, and rest assured the management company and owner will ensure your visit is extraordinary. I feel blessed to have found this house last minute to give my family a space of tranquility, and I will forever be grateful for the kindness and attention we received from the management company.

Paradise!

We travel to the area often and Mariposa was definitely our favorite property thus far. The house was spacious and comfortable and the backyard resembles a tropical paradise. We enjoyed our stay and enjoyed eating out on nearby Atlantic Avenue as well as grilling in the beautiful backyard. Everyone in our family agrees that we would love to return and stay again!

Sisters trip!

This property was perfect for our annual sisters' trip to Florida! The house is spacious and comfortable, and the outside is a tropical paradise. The back yard is filled with lush tropical plants and a sparkling pool, with lots of seating for everyone. I highly recommend this place, we will be back.

Amazing girls' getaway!!

Fabulous house for our fall getaway! Loved having 4 separate bedrooms for each of us - privacy but lots of large common areas to gather for fun! Awesome pool and close walk to the beach (~3/4 mile) to enjoy both options! No issues whatsoever and highly recommend - will definitely be back!

This home exceeded our expectations. My husband and 3 kids 23, 20 and 17 absolutely loved our stay. The home was very clean upon arrival. It is walking distance to town and the beach. We enjoyed the pool, nightly BBQs and the beautiful neighborhood. We would absolutely stay here again.

Family weekend

Our family adored the house! It was perfect for a long weekend. We were able to enjoy the pool and nearby beach. Downtown Delray is perfect for strolling with great dining options. We made use of the kitchen’s ample amenities and spacious living spaces. Also like the tech features, iPad and Alexa. Thanks for the welcome treats.
