"Upon arrival we fell in love right away with the property, neighborhood and quaintness of the area. We were a little disappointed in the size of the room as we were in Rm 1. Great that we didn't have to make the stairs though. Loved everything about our stay and the quietness of the neighborhood. Enjoyed sitting and relaxing on the front porch. All in all it was a great stay. Enjoyed all the text messages upon arrival up until leaving. Very personal and informative. We will definitely be back....

"A nice little place for a winter retreat! The heat kept us nice and warm despite the frigid temperatures outside and it was fun to wake up each morning to a wide view of the frozen lake. Very quiet neighborhood, at least in February. I will note that you have to walk through one of the bedrooms to get to the only bathroom. It wasn't a big deal for us because it was just my wife, our 1-year-old, and me, but bigger families may want to plan accordingly. The host was very communicative and...

"Charlies Place is a super clean, lovely little home across the street from a private little beach. We kayak, so to be able to walk across the street to put in was a bonus. Bren is very communicative host and provides plenty of towels and kitchen supplies. There is a washer and dryer available as well. The neighborhood is quiet and neighbors are friendly as well! Will for sure book Charlies Place in the future."

"We loved this property! Very family-friendly with a treasure hunt my granddaughter adored!! (Just for information, all bedrooms are upstairs for those who are challenged by stairs.) Kitchen is well stocked with pans, utensils, and serveware. Bring spices only, all else is provided. Sparkling clean and beautifully decorated with a new hot tub. Hosts are outstanding, none better. "The room was very nice. I was there for my son's graduation ceremony from NUOH. They came to our room and complimented it as well. We also had a little pool party and it was great.
