"Overall really liked the property! Great staff, kind, courteous, amenable to needs of guest! Like the convenience of pool & gym & free garage parking on property and that you can park on the level that your room is on. Beds were comfortable although lower to the floor. Room & bathrooms were clean! Only down side but not under property's control is people walking down the street at 2-3:00 am being loud, screaming or laughing that startled me awake several times. Maybe not so bad on higher floors. Had a great time, will definitely stay again!"
"We take a yearly trip to Dewey every year and usually get a beach house for a full week. This year, we decided to take a shorter trip and book a room instead. After much research, we decided to go with the Block Party hotels. At first we were skeptical considering beach rooms are usually seedy and dirty. However, much to our surprise our room was bright, clean and comfortable . There are two pools on either side and both have plenty of space, shade and sun depending on your preference. The attached coffee house has beautiful deck where you can utilize the extra space for a nice sunset happy hour or a comfortable breakfast. The service was also fantastic. Check in was really easy and towels were provided upon request. The outside gym was a nice bonus as well.
Best of all though, is the location. The hotel can’t have a better location in Dewey- barely a block from the beach with lots of dining options surrounding.
We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to anyone looking for a fun spot in Dewey."
"Hotel was great. We normally stay closer to Rehoboth boardwalk but this place was great. It’s a little quieter with great access to restaurants and the beach. The man at the desk was super friendly and accommodating. The beach is right beside the hotel door and they often have movie and bonfire nights. The Rehoboth boardwalk is only a 5 min. Drive away. Great location and great staff. Very big rooms and very clean. "
"Great location! Nicely renovated with a very clean feel. Pool was a nice addition after coming off the beach which is steps away. Staff is friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast spread in the morning and the social hour at 5pm was a nice bonus. 5 minute drive to heart of Rehobeth. Rooms are clean and plenty of space. Expect to see a lot of kids while there. Will stay here again. "
"The staff were very friendly and were quick with any issues. Our a/c didn’t work well and so we were immediately moved to another room. The rooms were plain and clean which is what we expected. There were plenty of toiletries and towels. The pool is small but very clean and the sun sets behind it so lovely to hang out, swim and watch the sun go down. We really enjoyed being able to sit out on the balcony to read. It’s one block walk to the beach. The team 100% met our expectations and more given the very affordable cost. "

"They normally replace bedsheets every 3 days but if you request they will replace as you see fit I had great time time the staff are friendly and easy to talk to. "
