Our room was very modern and nice. It was only a few blocks from the start of the main road where all of the shops and restaurants are located

The breakfast was excellent. The location was superb. The room was elegant. I can't ask for more. Extremely satisfied.

We were very satisfied with our recent five-day stay at Hotel Reykjavik Saga. It’s a fantastic hotel conveniently located in the heart of Reykjavik. It’s within walking distance of great restaurants, museums, parks, stores, and the harbor. We found it charming that we could hear the bells from a nearby cathedral pealing at the top of every hour. Our stay was wonderful. At check-in, Matteo of the Reception staff greeted us warmly. Upon learning that we were there for our 25th wedding anniversary, Matteo assigned us a nice room on the fifth floor with a beautiful view of Reykjavik and easy access to the sun deck. He also arranged to have our room decorated with two love birds made out of bath towels. Breakfasts were plentiful and delicious, featuring a variety of hot and cold dishes and quite a few delicious Icelandic specialties. The breakfast staff was cheerful, courteous, and helpful. We enjoyed using the dry sauna, cold bath tub, and shower area. Unfortunately, the steam sauna was out of order. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Saga. We highly recommend this hotel to all travelers planning a trip to the beautiful city of Reykjavik.
