Two days of decompressing & away we go again!!!

From the time I arrived on Friday until on Sunday, the staff have been very helpful .. The amenities were basic, but that is all I needed for my stay .. The only negatives that were a bummer was the fact that the ice machine was broken & the tv size needs to be upgraded .. Other then those marks, I would stay again in The Deer Park Motel in the future.

Clean and comfy

We had an overnight after a family party. Check in was pleasant, the room was clean and when we needed extra pillows, no problem. Not a high class stay, it that's your reference. A clean, comfortable, safe room to rest your bones overnight, PERFECT! Would stay there again if the need comes up in the future.

Cheaper than the rest.

This is a very basic motel, no bells or whistles. Fairly clean and comfortable, but old and not updated. Located off a strip mall in suburban Long Island. No working ice machine, no coffee in the rooms or lobby. Give only two pillows for two adults and two small towels. Nothing special but cheaper than other local alternatives. If you only need a place to lay your head for a night, this will do.

It was good. One thing it is safe there. Good parking area but you have to park your own risk. Property is old. Doors do not close open properly specially bathroom doors. Did not like the bath tub.

Nice, clean room! Bedspread a little tattered, but all room appliances present and working. Quiet heat unit! Front desk provided a room upgrade free! No coffee, breakfast, or hair dryer. Decent value and quality. We were satisfied.

This motel is conveniently located to many of the attractions that are around Deer Park and the Commack area. It's clean enough, but the property is not especially well maintained, and my interactions with the owner and staff were pleasant enough. There's plenty of restaurants, stores, and easily walkable and accessible facilities in the area of this motel, which is a plus. Is this a luxury motel with pool, spa, beautifully decorated rooms? Not by a long shot. It's a place to hang your hat if you're in the area, and not looking to spend a lot of money on lodging.

I had to pay up front for a 3-day stay. Not just give a card number to hold, but I paid for 3 nights BEFORE I got a key. It was quiet at night, despite adjacent restaurant. Location was somewhat central to my needs, but neighborhood was not desirable. Staff were very abrupt. I was called 10 min before checkout to remind me and although I was ready to go, there were clearly lots of open rooms and no housekeeping in sight so I felt I was being pushed out for no reason. No coffee machine.

most basic room possible. Bed was ok, tv worked. Deadbolt on door was broken. Probably wouldn't stay again, but is the cheapest place around, so you get what you pay for. Don't expect a 4 star room and you'll be ok.
