'Creekside' is a real and authentic log cabin that is located just a few minutes outside of Boone, just minutes from the Blue Ridge Pkwy, and is situated in a postcard like setting with nearly 1/2 mile of stocked trout stream that runs directly behind the cabin. If you are looking for a streamside cabin you will not find a better location anywhere. The relaxing sound of the rushing stream and waterfalls can be heard throughout the property, and there is abundant wildlife including trout, deer, turkey, fox, beavers and birds. 'Creekside' has a Beautiful BRAND NEW private hot tub on deck overlooking the stream, gas fireplace, gas grill, sat TV & queen bed, full kitchen, with brand new appliances full bath, & a pullout couch that sleeps 2 additional people .We also another cabin on the property which can be rented either together or individually which makes this property ideal for anything from a romantic weekend or honeymoon to a large family or multi family vacation. There are many activities available with excellent fishing, hiking, picnicing, and campfires available on the property. Horseback riding is just 10 minutes away at nationally known Leatherwood Stables. Boone is a short 15-20 minute drive, and Blowing Rock is a 30 minute drive both of which provide excellent dining, shopping, and antiquing. Other local activities include golf, cave exploration, whitewater rafting, Grandfather Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad, ASU football, hunting, mountain biking, tubing, gem mines, and downhill skiing. Please remember you are staying at a real life cabin in the woods . WiFi may be spotty .

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is charming and had all amenities we needed for a relaxing few days in the mountains. It is a beautiful scenic drive to get to the nearby towns. We especially enjoyed visiting Blowing Rock and West Jefferson. The creek was lovely.

Beautiful property, host was great. Very much pet friendly. We had an amazing stay it was so relaxing. The WiFi never had an issue but cell service is non existent lol. You can hear the stream as soon as you get out of your car, definitely would recommend!

Lovely little cabin. Would be nice to have a larger back porch with screen since the creek and a small waterfall is so beautiful to look at and enjoy the sound. Inner tubes were in the basement with the laundry so we enjoyed a float on the creek.

Awesome, peaceful stay

Clean, cozy, charming stay for our anniversary. We were even able to bring our large dogs because the place is pet friendly, but you wouldn’t know it because how pristine everything is.

The river was great. The house was comfortable, although the refrigerator didn’t keep our stuff cold. The hot tub was a great feature although the lights didn’t work overall we were very satisfied. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Booked a last minute stay to unwind and relax. I couldnt ask for a better experience.It was peaceful and beautiful. The cabin was so clean and well stocked. The booking process was flawless. Our host was so kind and helpful. And creek was amazing!!!!I would highly recommend this place and plan on a repeat visit in the near future

Wonderful

Just the two of us and what a location. The creek is so nice, fire by the water, excluded location but still a short drive to Boone. The place is small but very charming, perfect for a romantic trip.

Beautiful Mountain Getaway

Absolutely beautiful little mountain getaway. The location and scenery is so peaceful and relaxing. The cabin had everything we needed. Absolutely loved having the creek behind the house. We could listen to that all day! Hot tub was a nice amenity in the evenings also! Will definitely be back to enjoy.

Very quiet & relaxing!

This quaint, small cabin was exactly what my husband & I hoped for on our year-end vacation. It was quiet & perfect for thr two of us! The bed is FIRM so be prepared for that. Its great for those with back issues. Situated just 25min frim downtown Boone & 45min from Bammer Elk, we found it situated just far enough from where we wanted to venture out to dine. The rest of the time, we RESTED! Thank you for such a relaxing stay,we appreciate it!.
