「Excellent location!」

「We were in town for a 2 day swim invite at Luther College and this worked perfectly for us. It was just a 0.7 mile walk to the pool or a couple minute drive so easy to get back to between sessions. The apartment was decorated very nicely, had comfortable beds & the kitchen was stocked nicely with coffee pods & snacks. 」

「We had an amazing, peaceful, and private stay—just what we wanted! The location was great and very close to everything decorah has to offer! The fall colors were beautiful and definitely showing off for us. We ended up using the air mattress to sleep on and that worked out really well for us as the back of the futon wasn’t very comfortable, but great for sitting! We were never able to find the trails that led down to the bottom of the Quarry, but that’s ok. We didn’t need to talk to the owners...

When you walk down the stairs you are right on the main street of Decorah with lots of shops and restaurants to explore. We reached out to the host with questions when we arrived and they were quick to respond and very helpful. 」

「Butterfly park retreat was just what my family and I needed for our overnight stay in Decorah. I was traveling with my two adult children and my seven month old granddaughter. Our host went to extra lengths to take care of us, separating the king size bed into two twins and setting up a pack and play, even providing a highchair. When we arrived, we also found baby wash, baby shampoo and a hooded bath towel among other thoughtful gestures by our host. We would definitely recommend this place to...
