When we checked in, they wouldn’t give us the room we reserved and paid for. Due to having pets, they said we couldn’t have the room and we would need to take a lesser room and still pay the original price plus pet fees. (This information was not in the description like a lot of hotels have in the additional information section) It cost us $350 for one night for a standard room. They gave us a key and when I unlocked the door there was already a lady in that room and we startled each other! They then gave us a different room that was grungy. There was another guest trying to check in with the same problem as we were having.

I had a great experience here a couple years ago. Breakfast heating cleanliness conditions would not have met health code violations, no hot water for showers, the breakfast was bare minimum and frankly lacking. There was open soda bottles in my fridge from a previous guest? Wondered how clean the rest of the room was. The family suite had a second tv with no batteries for the remore and no air in the room.

What a cute little gem of a place to stay, Adorable setting, clean and updated cottage. Even a black “make-up” face cloth! Highly recommend!!

The hotel appeared run down upon entering the driveway. The lobby seemed dated but that was the least of my issues. The front desk attendant had terrible body odor. The room was disgusting. The bed sheets had stains. The AC unit worked but appeared to be about 30 years old and the buttons were so worn you couldn’t tell which ones to push to make it work the way you wanted it to. There was hair all over the shower. The carpet felt damp and sticky. Now I see why they were the cheapest in the area. I won’t stay here again.

Pulled in and my initial thought was, “Is this place open”? Weeds growing up around the property and through the concrete cracks. I walk to the front door to see the 2 workers outside talking a smoke break. After checking in, my wife and I proceed to the very small, make-shift looking elevator with dead flies in the light fixture above. We get to our room and try to turn on the tv but remote wouldn’t work. I go to take a shower and I turn on the faucet and wait…and wait…and wait for the hot water. No hot water. As the water ran, it filled the tub. The drain wasn’t draining. I go down to the desk to ask for a room with hot water, they said they had a problem with the hot water and are waiting for the plumber. It will be fixed tonight or in the morning they said. Morning came, still no hot water! I go down to ask for refund and cancel my next nights stay, nobody around so I wait and dial 0 on a phone on the desk. Finally someone comes and apologizes that they don’t have access to give a refund there at the desk, I have to email the manager who hasn’t been there in 2 weeks. This is a dump at best and no one is around to help out. I should’ve taken a hint when there were only 3 vehicles in the parking lot when I arrived. Don’t believe the “good”reviews on this place, go somewhere else. I’ve yet to hear from the so-called manager for my refund.

Upon check in there was not hot water and i was not informed. Then was told it should be on the next day. Long story short i had 2 very cold showers and when i went to check out my last day they wouldnt even come to the front desk. Pretty sure there are bed bugs also as i have several bites now!!!

I have stayed here before in the past (5+ years ago), it was an average clean hotel with the main feature being the hot tubs outside. This time our room was disgusting, dusty, dirty, moldy, many broken things. Then we woke up to no hot water, they didn't have hot water when we checked in the night before, was never informed. When we asked about it they were hoping to have it on by the evening of the next day. No offer to make it right, just here is an email ask them. Wouldn't stay here again if you paid me!

Clean room with comfortable bed. Bfast was available 6-9, but was the same fare each day (eggs, biscuits & gravy, cereal, toast). It suffices as long as you remember your not at a Hilton. Facility was acceptable for the rate paid and our limited needs being away most of the day.

No hot water for a morning shower. Carpet was gross and needed to be replaced. Breakfast area was very dirty and run down - I would not eat there.

This place was so dirty. The staff was great but that’s it. There was zero hot water. ZERO!! My toilet wouldn’t flush. For the price you’d think you were getting a nicer place. The a/c was likely from 1976. It was very dated. All of that could be overlooked until you tried to shower and only cold. Staff said because it was a full house. The door didn’t shut right. The drawers were super gross. There was hair every where. I’m glad I was mostly drunk and had ZFTG but seriously.

The room we were in needed some bathroom renovations (Ceiling falling & water damage). Only one of the three outdoor hot tubs was working. The staff were very friendly & helpful. I'd stay here again but would hope to have a nicer room & have the hot tubs functioning.

Our room was far from being clean. Floors dirty, ceiling falling in on one corner. Bedding was not clean. Bathroom was minuscule Breakfast was subpar.

We have stayed at the Blackstone off and on through the years . It has always been a nice clean hotel but this time it was under new management and it was filthy. My slippers were black on the bottoms from the dirty floors, dust everywhere and bathtub looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for a while. Last morning we were there we had no hot water for showers. We did not eat breakfast there. I do not think we will be staying there again.

There was mold growing under the popcorn ceiling in the shower and the ceiling was literally coming off in sheets. Most of the linens had stains on them. The hot tubs would be nice, but you are literally sitting in a parking lot with bright lights. It ruins any sense of relaxation being blinded by the lights. Breakfast was questionable at best, the food did not look fresh, so all I did was a make your own waffle and a coffee.

Thw hotel was beautiful, but their amenities need some work. They have vending machines on each floor that were all not working. It said they had ice machines but they didnt and when i tried to ask thw staff, i couldnt get an answer or wvwn find someone to help me.

Floor is sticky. Tv remote works to turn on the tv and adjust volume, but that's it. Mold in the shower, paint peeling bad.
