"They need to do a lot of work at this hotel. Bathroom door wouldn’t shut. Elevator was broken all weekend. They cleaned the room and didn’t leave towels."

"Pool was not as clean as it should be for a property of this type. Pool water in the hot tub and main pool was cloudy and smelled dirty. Found several clumps of hair floating around in the water. Air conditioning in the room didn’t cool as it should. Room never cooled below 74 especially while sleeping. Room temperature is critical when spending several hours outside wagering on the horse races. Casino didn’t properly purify the air resulting in poor air quality for the gamblers. Didn’t offer any luggage help when arriving. The patron drink beverage wasn’t well maintained or clean, never witnessed the staff wiping down or checking to make sure it was kept sanitized. Often the slot machines were left with dirty ash trays and left behind drinks. The cocktail waitresses didn’t come around enough and were not very friendly or patient when taking orders. The Rosewater cafe food was excellent and the staff was great except for one visit after the races ended. When returning for dessert and drinks after the races ended the hostess acted irritated that several different groups of guests came in late. The other two restaurants were marginal at best. Food quality in general for Tin Lizard and Gator Grill were below average for what you pay as a captive guest. Unfortunately because of the remote location of this hotel and casino there aren’t any restaurants near the property to visit."

"Rented two rooms with 4 beds total. Every bed sheet had stains on them. One bed had mildew on the bed and sheets. AC had mildew or mold on vents. One room smelled so wet and gross. Pictures must have been taken when the hotel was built because it looked nothing like the pictures. So much noise coming from the highway couldn’t sleep. Pool was tiny. Every time house keeping came they turned the air way up to make the room hot when we got back. “Breakfast” they offered was only muffins and yogurt. Way over priced for what you get. Parking was awful as well. Only plus for the place is the front desk staff was friendly."
