「I would give 6 stars if I could! Kevin was an absolutely delightful and very communicative host - he responded to questions very quickly and reached out to make sure we were doing well. 「I really enjoyed my stay. I came to spend some time with my daughter who goes to SIU. It was nice, quiet, and had the great charm. It is a cabin so it is rustic but that was the charm of the cabin. The bed was great, we were able to cook and relax like the comforts of home. The wifi had an issue and needed to be reset and the host was very prompt on fixing the issue. He was available! I will definitely stay here again when I visit my daughter!」

「The home is an older home which appears to have been built in stages. The floors are quite creaky and the age shows throughout. The worst issue for us was the noise of the street out front. We had expected less traffic in such a small town, although the owner made no such claim. The beds were excellent and there was plenty of hot water. The furniture is in good shape. In view of the price we felt it was a good value.」

「We came down to visit friends and the cabins were great to come back to each night . The cabins are close to town but far enough away . I enjoyed a peaceful sit on the deck and a nice walk . The management responds quickly to any question and it was really easy to check in and out. I will say if you are shorter person like myself bring a stool the bed is kinda high.」

「Had my parents in town for the weekend and needed a place that would take their bigger dog. The cabin was exactly as described! Cute little place with comfortable beds and the location was convenient. I had some trouble getting in at first (user error) but I called the host and he quickly walked me through it. Would highly recommend for a weekend get away!」
