「Had a lovely short break at The Imperial Hotel. It's a lovely old hotel, which is a little tired in places, but is otherwise well looked after. Room was spacious and had everything I needed - wifi worked perfectly, allowing me to get some work done. Could do with a new mattress in the room I was in and the pillows were too soft for me, but that is a personal preference. I found all the staff to be wonderful and friendly, and the service and food in the restaurant was excellent. The location...

「Was very disappointed at being charged extra to park the car because we booked through Hotels.com. Only received a refund when we complained and pointed out that had I come and just bought a coffee I would have been eligible for free parking as I would have been considered to be a customer. But not considered to be a customer when staying overnight. 」

「Probably the worst hotel I've stayed at. The desk is scarcely manned. The phone just rings and rings. A sign in lugubrious English is left out for those already at the hotel with a mobile number on it, but those who are trying to call in advance are damned. There is a stench of damp in the hallway. The room is small, dark and unclean. Not recommended by any stretch of the imagination.」

「家族３人で１泊しました。少し所在地が分かりにくい（カーナビの設定がよろしくなかったこともありますが）ですが、部屋から海が見えるいい場所でした。敷地内に無料のテニスコートもあり、家族で楽しめました。同じく敷地内にはパターゴルフ（？）のようなものもあり、我が家はチャレンジしませんでしたが、何組かやはりご家族でやられているのを見ました。我々は１泊だけでしたが、長期の滞在もできそうです。プールが良さそうでしたが、我々は残念ながら利用する時間がありませんでした。もう少しゆっくりできる時間があればよかったと思います。」

「The location was brilliant. There was good equipment in the kitchen and the sitting room was comfortable with a great tv. Others have mentioned the water is a bit temperamental but it didn’t affect our stay. I think it could benefit from a deep clean. It wasn’t dirty but needed a bit more care. 」

The location is perfect, and the staff made the experience feel effortless and genuinely enjoyable. I’d happily return and highly recommend it. 5/5 on all fronts.」
