新しく開放されたこの新しく改装されたホテルは、ダートマスが提供するすべての設備に近い中心部にありますが、静かな人里離れた場所であるスクールステップを隠しました。 全部で54のステップがありますが、報酬は海、川、城、キングスウェアの景色です。
私たちの財産は、現代風にアレンジした古い海岸沿いのコテージです。 座って川の生活や蒸気機関車を楽しむのに最適な場所を提供するか、多くの観光スポットを探索する拠点として利用できます。
玄関から玄関にアクセスします。玄関は廊下に続き、階下のシャワールームがあり、ビーチから直接入るのに最適です。 廊下からは、2階に上がるか、暖炉のあるリビングルームに行くことができます。 設備の整ったキッチンは、景色を最大限に活用した大きなテーブルでおもてなしするのに最適な場所です。 2階には、寝室とウォークインワードローブを備えた1つのマスターベッドルームがあり、キッチンから続く別の階段からアクセスできます。 また、2階には大きなツインルームとダブルルームがあり、メインホールの階段からアクセスできます。 独立したバスタブのある大きな家族用バスルームがあります。 すべてのベッドルームにはスマートテレビと快適なベッドがあります。

Amazing property and we had a lovely stay! Communication with the host was great and the property was clean and so beautifully refurbished. The location is really good and although slightly tricky to unload the car on arrival and department due to the steps - it is completely worth the effort for the view, peacefulness and such a lovely property. The kitchen, dining, lounge, bathrooms and beds were all great and we had a really comfortable stay so thank you. We would definitely recommend and hope to be back soon.

Insgesamt ein total schönes Haus in super Lage. War leider nicht so sauber wie erwartet. Wir mussten erst mal das komplette Geschirr neu spülen, wobei die Pfannen überhaupt nicht mehr zu gebrauchen waren. Der Außenbereich war nicht besonders gepflegt und wir mussten leider ein paar Tage oder Internet auskommen. Die Gastgeber haben aber für alles Lösungen angeboten und waren immer erreichbar. Auch wenn es nicht perfekt war - es war trotzdem ein schöner Urlaub und ein tolles Haus.

Lovely spot for a relaxing family holiday. We love it so much that this was our third stay! Just as described. Excellent communications with owners. They even offered us an earlier check in on the day as the cleaners had prepared things sooner. Much appreciated. Parking is a little challenging, but soon forgotten once you’re enjoying the 180 degree views of the water over to Kingswear and out to sea, past the castle. Simply wonderful.

We’ve had the best time, the house is perfect especially for Christmas! Brilliant communication, location even the steps not too bad for my 86 yr old mother but she is v fit. Loved this place will stay again!

Perfect holiday stay

Have stayed at School Steps several times now with the family. It really is a superb place to spend a week in Dartmouth. Clean, modern and, as long as you don't mind walking a few steps up, ideally located. Dani is an excellent host, always on hand to offer help if needed.

Great place to stay in Dartmouth

A great time was had by all the family. We loved how centrally located this house is and of course the wonderful estuary views. Really close to shops and restaurants. Easy ferry rides to Dittisham, Kingswear and Dartmouth castle. Teenagers found it easy to use public transport to visit Salcombe, Slapton Sands and Exeter. Plenty to do for all ages. Fab place to base your holiday.

Stunning house with a fantastic view

We regularly visit Dartmouth and this house is the best we’ve stayed in so far, it really does tick all the boxes! The panoramic view of the river Dart makes the climb up the 50 odd steps worth while, which did get easier throughout our stay. A modern, yet cosy, beautifully appointed house thats was spotlessly clean. We had a fabulous Christmas here and hope to book for 2024.

Had a lovely stay. The house is very nice, all clean and very close to the town and river. Kitchen with plates, cutlery etc. Beds clean linen. You soon get used to the steps, but would not suit anyone with limited mobility. Second time we have stayed and hope to return.

So stunning we almost kept it a secret!

Stunning views of the estuary and out to sea. Beautiful house just as described in the listing. Comfy beds. Good showers. Moments walk from central Dartmouth. So pleased we weren’t put off by the lack of parking and surplus of steps (apart from loading and unloading the steps didn’t cause us a problem. There are 2 flat bits in between the narrow flights of steps where you can have a breather if needed). You can park at the top or bottom of the steps to unload. There are several free unlimited parking spaces at the bottom of the steps, but they scarcely become free (we stayed during the end of July). Mostly we parked about 1 mile out of town and walked in. Worth it for the views 😀

We loved our stay in Dartmouth

Lovely house, thank you! Amazing views from all the bedrooms and living room and a well-equipped kitchen. And we loved seeing the steam train tooting along on the ‘other side’. The steps up to the house were ok for me but could be challenging for some especially when loading and unloading. We found the parking was fine in August - continue up the hill and there were normally bays very close by that were free from 4pm-11am. The town is lovely too with lots of restaurants and life and we would love to come back. Beautiful countryside. Thank you.

Lovely View

A lovely property in the heart of Dartmouth town, close to shops, pubs and restaurants. Beautiful view from the terrace across the harbour to the steam railway and down to the castle and the sea beyond. Check in was easy and the place is modern and everything worked fine. Bed was comfy and rooms share the view across the harbour. As said elsewhere there really are a lot of steps, so may be difficult if you struggle. Parking was fine, with 1 and 2 hours bays nearby and other free options further afield. We overstayed parking a number of times without penalty. Overall would recommend and we will return!

We had a very relaxing week in Dartmouth in no small thanks due to the fabulous property which was perfect for our family of 6. The owners have renovated the property to an exceptionally high standard.

Brilliant

We had a brilliant stay at School Steps, the house is decorated throughout to a high standard and a lot of love and care has gone into it. Dani was a fantastic host, who responded to any queries we had in less that five minutes. The view from the terrace and even inside the house is breathtaking and good for the soul. My son particularly enjoyed playing with the games and the Xbox, he was in holiday heaven with Minecraft. The kitchen is fully equipped, all modern brand new appliances and we found that we didn’t want to go out in the evening and instead enjoyed the views from the comfort of our kitchen table. There are a lot of steps to get to the property but this is not a problem if you are mobile. We used the steps as part of our morning workout routine. Dartmouth is a great little spot, we went crabbing (they like bacon!) and we saw the local seals too! We will be back, thank you Dani. Xx

Fabulous property with amazing views. You need to be reasonable fit as there are a lot of very steep steps to the house, saying that I would definitely return, loved it.
