"Le domaine des grès", grande cabane isolée dans la forêt de Fontainbleau

The sandstone estate -Grand Shala in the forest of Fontainebleau — up to 10 people in cabins, ideal for large families - and climbing and yoga groups - (possibility of moderate evenings for up to 20 people with additional cost for logistics cleaning, mattresses to be installed)

The large cabin is built on the first floor at the top of the wooded hill, without barriers, and with a minimal impact on the environment.
The Forest left intact is "its garden" in a large wooded massif of 25000 hectares crossed by long-distance hiking trails.-

It fits naturally into the landscape offering an unusual proximity to nature. The site, classified as a Gatinais natural park by the Department of Essonne, resembles the large forest of Fontainbleau, nestled in the height of a wood located in the Essonne (8 kl from Milly la Forêt), 1 hour drive from Paris. The isolated site is preserved from any construction.

Built in wood and stone by an artist in the 60s, restored in 2017, it offers modern comfort in the kitchen and bathroom with sauna, yoga-shala, Japanese toilet, while keeping the original spirit of a relaxed "cabin"-

The main cabin is composed of:

A large dining room open to the forest, with a large sofa in front of the fireplace and an open kitchen.

- A music and yoga room with a glass roof and a barbecue, for a summer/winter lounge (extra mattresses possible)
- A large comfort double room+
- A small room with 1 double bed and 1 single bunk bed. (more for children). - A bathroom with shower (not super hot in winter), a sauna (3 people), a Japanese toilet and a "Balinese" bathroom (2 outdoor showers in the rocks for the summer with collected rainwater)

Options- Extra mattresses can be set up in the workshop and a heated design tent (Bedouin style to be erected) of 16 square meters is optional for 3 additional people (1 double bed and 1 single)

In summer, we set up small mobile cabins converted into beds with views (window) overlooking the forest -Count an extra 39 th person/night- (X4 double beds 2 solo in small cabin)

For leisure in good season, A yoga shala terrace () overlooks the forest for a practice immersed in nature, under the cover and freshness of the trees. (Very nice view)
- Yoga mats, bricks and straps available in the hut.

- Various perches set up in the natural rocks to isolate yourself alone or in small groups (circuit set up in the rocks for climbing and access to the canopy viewpoint (Sunset)...

- an outdoor dry toilet is set up on request for groups. - On request we can organize groups of 10 yoga/climbing trainees + 1 teacher and a cook

1 Thai masseur, 1 sound therapist, 1 yoga teacher live nearby and can come to the hut on request. A hut for massages is set up

-And a multitude of cultural and sports activities in the forest, or rest under the sofa before a dinner on the terrace: Close to the castles of Fontainebleau, Vaux le Vicomte, Courances, the splendid Grand Parquet, the Moulin de Claude François, the famous Massif des 3 Pignons (climbing paradise), the Jean Cocteau museum, the Cerny aviation museum with the most beautiful European aviation meeting... and the magnificent cyclops of Niki de Saint Phale and Tinguely
