"Clean and comfortable for one night. Nice continental breakfast, no dinner available so need to find somewhere for food. We walked to the White Hart which was fine."

"This was our second stay here as loved the hotel & area before. This time we stayed for 3 nights. On our 2nd night we ate in the restaurant, unfortunately, when our starters were taken away, it seems the young lady forgot our drinks order & forgot to tell the kitchen we were waiting for our main course. After 20 minutes had to ask for our drinks again, then after 50 minutes, we had to ask again for our main course. We did get one of the meals free as an apology. Apart from this, the food was delicious & the Cavery on the 3rd night was Devine. The staff were friendly & helpful. Especially a lady called “Rosario” we feel she went above and beyond. At Breakfast there was a big choice of cooked food & a cold selection where you could help yourself. There is seating out the front & back which we made the most of & weather was lovely. Room was clean, and had all the usual complementary bits. Would definitely still stay here again."

"We never know what to expect because hotel rooms both in and outside of London can be tiny and minimally equipped. We loved this hotel for the old worldly ambience and the spacious accommodation. The bedding was high quality and comfortable, and the staff warm and inviting. Highly recommend."

"We had a 'cozy' room, meaning tiny, but it was nicely furnished with a TV and nice bathroom with a strong shower. The receptionist staff was friendly and helpful, pointing out the happy hour at the bar. 2 for 1 deal plus a cheese plate. The hotel is centrally located with parking behind ( parking in Canterbury is expensive). Very close to the town center and restaurants. Decent breakfast choices. The 14th century building successfully marries old and modern."

"Our break at The Loft was perfect from beginning to end. Access was simple, the apartment felt secure and peaceful. Great location to everything in the city. It was very well equipped, the kitchen had everything you needed, seating in the lounge was very comfortable. The beds were super comfy and both of the bathrooms had super showers."

"Central location, perfect for exploring the city on foot, and easy access from the train station Room was clean with hot shower, towels and toiletries, and kettle with tea/coffee: all we needed for an overnight stay after a wedding reception. Sanjeewa made us very welcome and helpfully let us store luggage after check-out. A varied continental breakfast was a great start to the day. Thank you Sanjeewa"

"I can not recommend this spot enough- first of all, every staff member is so warm and congenial. The room is beautiful, and the complimentary breakfast is table service (mind blowing to my American standards!). Being right in the Cathedral grounds puts you in the midst of everything but yet in a nice quiet oasis. Would come back just to stay here again."
