Beautiful and well appointed!

My daughter and I stayed here for our trip to ride the Creeper Trail. It is beautifully decorated, and very well appointed. It had everything we could have asked for to make our stay very enjoyable. There was such thoughtful touches, such as games to play, an umbrella and flashlight, and so much more. We would definitely stay here again!

Cute and Comfortable Home

Home was clean and had everything we needed and more. Really appreciated the small touches - charging ports at each bedside, snacks, wood and kindling for fire pit, even an umbrella! Conveniently located near Creeper Trail and Abingdon’s Barter Theatre. Truly a comfortable home away from home!

Nice Little House

The house location was good for us, as our trip revolved around riding on the VA Creeper Trail. The house has a cute interior, with 2 bedrooms. The house has been remodeled on the inside to make it feel very cozy. If I were in the area again, I would stay in the house.

Damascus cottage

The property was as pictured, for the most part surface clean. In the 2nd bathroom the towel racks were not affixed to the wall well and you could not hang a towel on them. We had a real problem with the kitchen sink not draining. 12+ hours after contacting the property manager, we did get a return call with a promise of a plumber to come by and look at the problem. He tried and was unable to fix the slow drain. He left with a promise he would return the next day with other equipment, sadly we did not see or hear from him. The property did not have a dishwasher so we had no recourse but to try to use the sink and wait for the water to slowly drain out; usually taking at least 2-3 hours. We loved the fire pit and the gas grill was a life saver. All in all would stay again ONLY if the drainage problem was fully rectified.

We totally loved our stay! The home was beautiful as well as the grounds. there were some great restaurants near by, close to the NACAR track as well as the Adirondack Trail. We would definitely rent again!!!

The property was exactly as advertised. We needed two bedrooms and 2 baths and this was one of very few available. I really needed an earlier check in than 4pm and the contact granted this in a timely manner. The property is located in a mixed area with a warehouse and old bus/trolley parking lot nearby. That is quickly overlooked however. This place was comfortable both inside and out. It was well equipped not only with kitchen utensils and cookware but the fridge and cupboards were stocked with many common items located in most homes (seasonings of all kinds, ketchup, mustard, mayo and much more. The host even provided some snack foods and chocolates. The place was immaculate. The beds were comfortable. The outdoor space was private. I would rent this place again and recommend it to others.

We needed to stay in the area over Christmas. The owners made it very special for us with lots of Christmas decorations in each room and a Christmas tree. Very beautifully and thoughtfully (variety of chargers in MANY locations) decorated. We had everything we needed and it was quiet and peaceful.

Relaxing Stay, Close to Hiking

This property was oh so cozy and have everything we needed. We were so comfy, and the bed was very comfortable in the larger bedroom. It was close to great hiking which we took advantage of! Love it! We have family nearby and will stay again in the future.

Comfortable and Cozy

This home was a perfect home base for our weekend in Damascus. Close to the Creeper Trail, restaurants, and shopping. Beautifully decorated. Stocked with everything you need (and more). You feel more like a house guest than a stranger passing by just renting a room. Big outdoor space for kids and/or pets to run. Quiet neighborhood. The bedrooms are on either side of the house, which gave each couple some privacy. Excellent communication. Thank you for the snacks & drawstring backpack!
