"This cabin is perfect for people (like me) who love the nature part of camping but don’t want to sleep in a tent. It’s right on a private lake and close to tons of great hiking trails, including one with a waterfall, just down the road. The cabin was comfortable for our party of 4 adults, but the setup would work well for people traveling with kids, too. It’s off-grid and we were conservative with use of electricity, but never lost power, WiFi, or hot water. The host was very responsive and gave us great suggestions for things to do and places to eat. If you book, I suggest bringing some camping chairs for making s’mores around the fire pit, as the outdoor furniture was located elsewhere and bulky to move. We ended up picking up some in town and were glad we did! We had a great time!"

"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great stay! The property was as described and had lots of extras included. We enjoyed our stay and loved being on the lake. The property manager was automatics emails so can’t say much about communication. We did have a run in with the shower handle falling off during our stay and ended up finding tools to fix it, never heard back from the property manager about it. There also was no working light for the bedroom but didn’t bother asking about it over the holiday. A hose outside by the fire pit would also be nice to put out the fire when its done. Other than those few issues we had a great time and enjoyed being so close to Munising for day trips during our stay."

"Very clean and cozy cabin! Thankful that it was pet friendly! Perfect location. You can stay on the property and enjoy the lake or venture out to the surrounding area and hike, bike, and swim the UP. We would definitely recommend this property!"

"We had stayed at this cabin a few years ago and it is even nicer than it was back then, with updates in the bathroom and railings. It's a beautiful location on a lovely, quiet lake and last time, we had enjoyed a campfire, rowing around in a canoe and hanging outside at sunset. But that was a September visit. We found that in June, the bugs are soooo bad that we couldn't be outside at all, something we probably should have anticipated. Luckily, the cabin was very cozy for hanging out and nearby attractions, like the pictured rocks trails weren't nearly as buggy as the inland lake, so we had plenty to do. We would stay here again in a less buggy season. Everything you need in a cozy very private-feeling location."
