"I really enjoyed my time at Ilkim. The apartment size was decent, and had three small balconies. The staff were super friendly although they spoke little English we were able to communicate via google translate. The bed was super comfy and our apartment was kept cool even though it was 30degrees outside. "A small family run apart hotel. Rooms a little dated but exceptionally clean. Deniz and her father were fabulous hosts. The breakfast served was probably one of the best we have had in Turkey. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble asked and it was there. I would definitely recommend a stay here. It’s within a 5 minute walk to the river, restaurants and bars. We will definitely be going back."

"every thing positive written about this hotel is a big lie! toilet in the bedroom! dirty bathroom, cold water, bed sheets dirty and extremely old. matrresses are ancient and in very bad shape ( deep in the middle of the bed ). No wifi, only hot water in the shower, blankets at least 20 years old! No tv, and the list is long! in short every positive comment written about this hotel is probably written by their friends and relavies! "

"I went with 2 teenage boys and my hubby, it's not a big hotel but its very nice, it has a pool, restaurant and bar on site, right opposite a grocery shop. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help you. The hotel is situation in a great location, just a 5 minute walk from all bars, restaurants and a little further down you have the river and all shops. I would highly recommend this hotel."

"The staff were lovely and helpful. The hotel was clean, there was a bar and Hamam attached. We did not use the bar but the Hamam was fab. The pool looked fab but it iwas deep - im not a confident swimmer so did not go in. Breakfast was typical turkish buffet style and was fresh. I would definatly stay there again"

"The restaurant staff couldn’t do enough for you - there were loads of them and they were extremely friendly snd helpful. Food nice , not too expensive (for a hotel) and had a couple of meals in the hotel as well as breakfast, which was typical turkish breakfast. With the best freshly cooked omelettes Rooms comfortable. Nice iced water/ juice available at all times free in foyer. Swimming pool area was comfortable, lots of sunbeds and tables - very lovely to overlook the river. Ferry boats / day trip boats right by hotel - as was shops/ dolmus stop etc"
