Charming Foresters Cottage in Blair Castle Estate

Set within 1.5 acres of private woodland on the Blair Castle Estate, this charming 300 year old former forester’s cottage is a peaceful escape just 35 minutes from Glasgow. Sleeping 4 across two bedrooms, the cottage features cosy Scottish lodge interiors, a log burner, and a tranquil burn running through the Dog friendly and wonderfully private gardens. For those wanting to leave the car behind, the National Cycle Route passes by the cottage and Dalry train station just a 15 minute walk away.
Maximum occupancy of 4 guests.

Dogs welcome, but please keep them off beds and soft furnishings and please ensure you pick up behind them in the gardens.

No parties or events.

Quiet hours from 10pm to 8am to respect the peaceful estate setting.

No smoking or vaping inside the cottage.

Please supervise children around the burn and woodland grounds at all times.

Firepit to be used responsibly and never during high winds or dry conditions.

Never leave any fire unattended.

Please leave muddy boots, bikes and outdoor gear in the designated areas.

Respect the surrounding wildlife, woodland and neighbouring estate land. The cottage is kept very clean, but we are sharing the space with nature, so please expect to see the occasional bug inside the cottage!
