You will be minutes from downtown Grapevine in this charming lakeside cottage. Recently updated. Relax on the large outdoor patio overlooking Lake Grapevine, enjoy s'mores in the fire pit and experience dining and shopping in historic downtown Grapevine. The house backs to Katie's Woods Park and the lake.

Great location

It was just what we needed for a conference at the Gaylord. Clean, well supplied, and great location. We enjoyed our morning walks around the lake and the hospitality of the host.

Close by and so comfy

Home is nestled in a quiet neighborhood; plentiful with birds, squirrels and nice shady trees. Many people walk, ride and enjoy the lake nearby. Comfortable bed and easy walk to Gaylord.

Wonderful cottage!

I stayed at the cottage, and it was a perfect place for me to relax and spend a bit of time with family in the area. The owner was also very responsive to my questions. Will stay again!

Rustic Lake Cabin

We had a nice stay at this property. The outdoor space and access to the lake are wonderful. The host was very responsive and is located next door. You can appreciate the character of this 1950s cabin/house. Having a fire and looking at the lake where the highlights of our January visit.

Mother-Daughter Trip

Great place to stay close to Gaylord Convention Center! It is a cute cottage close to the lake. Richard, the host,was very responsive to our questions! Highly recommend staying here!

Richard, the host was very kind and close by. The neighborhood is walkable and a short drive to Grapevine’s Main Street for shopping and dining. So close for our convention at the Gaylord. Would totally stay here again!

Class of 2025 Valedictorian

As we were visiting Texas for the high school graduation celebrations and ceremonies of two grandkids, I thought I would stay with the theme by pronouncing this perfect cottage valedictorian--first in its class. Richard's home provided us the perfect location, comfortable accommodations and a nice little escape by the lake to recover from all of the celebrating.

The cottage was clean and quaint. We had room to store our boat with trailer and truck in the driveway. Using the boat ramp was easy and a close walk! Our 6 year old loved the front porch swing and the backyard had a lovely hammock! The area was very quiet but also close to town. The bedroom is a great size and the bed was comfortable. In the backyard you can watch planes coming in and it was very relaxing in the hammock. Kitchen was well stocked, but could use a pizza cutter!Thanks Richard for a great stay and a great pizza place recommendation! ("Sauce'd" - doesn't deliver but it's only 2 miles away!)

Great Location

Close to the Gaylord Texan and lake is nice (great for skipping rocks), close to lots of amenities. A cold front came while there and the heat worked well - although the heat blower is noisy. It's an older cottage, so it's drafty and you can hear the airport noise. For the price, it's a good option if you need to stay near the Gaylord Texan.

Another Wonderful Stay

This is a perfect location for getting around DFW. The house is peaceful and quiet with a view of the lake. The host made a special trip to the store for us to get us dish tabs when we ran out. Couldn't ask for more.
