I thought the location was perfect- very secluded and quiet which is what we were looking for. Felt very at home and comfy beds. Would definitely book it again.

Very quiet gated neighborhood on Lake Lewisville. We stayed Memorial Day weekend and there was very little boat traffic. It was peaceful. The description of their home is accurate. The communication was always quick. The down side to this property was its cleanliness. When we arrived on Thursday, all 4 trash cans were full and were stinking. We reached out and the owners said they would have it taken care of by the next morning . Overnight something had gotten in one of the cans. We again reached out on Friday morning, to the owner and informed them and they assured us it would be taken care of. We were gone the majority of the day, and when we got back, it was still there. My husband picked up the trash that had been strewn. There were maggots in the trash. Reached out again and were assured it would be handled. Saturday all day same senario. The rotten, maggot trash did not get picked up until Sunday afternoon. There were dead bugs in the window sills and heavy cobwebs on the kitchen light fixtures. The floors could’ve used a sweeping before our arrival. It should’ve been inspected before our arrival if it had been some time since the last people stayed. Reached out and owner would not offer any type of refund when I requested at least the cleaning fee be refunded.
