"This was a beautiful little place to stay. Staff were excellent. Shopping was right out the doorway and close proximity to restaurants. Parking was a bit tricky. You have to pay 1900 yen per day for parking and it’s about a block away from the hotel in a parking lot by a little yellow house. Room was spacious and quiet. "

It is extremely well located, a stone throw away from the train. 5-10 minutes walk from good restaurants, hiking trails and temples. I highly recommend if you want an authentic feeling, cozy space. Makoto, Ana, and Karen are the nicest staff ever, we extended out stay multiple days because we met other amazing people staying at this hostel and became very familiar with Kamakura. Kamakura should be a multi-day trip and you should definitely stay at Iza Kamakura House if you want a really comfortable and laid back place to stay. "
